  • can u use olive oil instead of canola oil?

  • It's the sugar that a lot of people (including me) have a problem with in the lemondade, not the fat. As a diabetic, sugar is a no-no.

  • @IanzGurrl Yep, I actually mention that in the video. thanks for watching.

  • @yoyomax12 i tried these i had a problem is it ok if its dried rosemary please reply;)

  • @09chadwyck Fresh is best but the dried stuff should be okay (less though)

  • They look great!

  • i love those duck measuring cups their so cute!

  • What about omitting all the oil and half the butter and marinading the chicken wings as opposed to cooking them in the sauce? You could reduce the 'marinade' in a sauce pan while the chicken is cooking and have that as a sauce for dipping.

  • Can you do a video of your monthly grocery shop.

Your videos make me want to cook like you. :)

  • I was getting kinda worried when you were stirring with a plastic spatula and say to bring it to a boil. lol~ My friend melted her plastic spatula when she was stirring chocolates. XD

  • @TearsOfSnow It isn't plastic, it is silicone and can withstand high temperatures

  • @yoyomax12 I see. XD I'll have to ask my friend to get a silicone one then. To avoid poisoning herself accidentally. She almost ate those chocolate. lol~

  • make a snoopy and woodstock cupcake please!!

  • Looks yummy!

  • Plus, the diet lemon aid would have aspartame in it. The will do WAY worse to your body in ONE sitting that sugar can do to you if taken ever day for a month!

  • Looks very good, I agree, I would leave out the oil and maybe just a tad of butter.

  • If I make this I'll probable marinate them in the sauce, then put them on a broiler type pan or racks in a cookie sheet and just baste the sauce on, I also like my wings a bit crispy.

  • Mmmmm. I'd like to try this with chicken breast.

  • I like the new intro!

  • please post a k-pop inspired cupcake tutorial? please please please? :3

  • I like the way your intro keeps changing. Always tight, professional, and inviting, and at least some of us do notice. Props to Brent and Jason!

Citrus and chicken are a natural combo, and this looks good, but I'm with you on the grease, and on the fact that the wings were swimming. I'm tempted to try it using much less of the mix initially, and then basting with it, rather than just dumping it in. And yeah, backing way down on the grease. Wings are already well equipped. LOL

  • Sounds very good! You have such a good mastery of camera cooking in the kitchen! I use Realemon juice, about 2 tbsps. for one serving, and 2 tbsp of olive oil, and a bit of salt and pepper and garlic powder, and cook that altogether with the chicken, it does make a differencce to use a bit less oil, much healthier for you! Hv a good wkend!

  • >w< IT LOOKS SOO GOOD!!!!!

  • can you tell how you keep your aluminum pots and top oven so shiny!!:)? and how you will clean this burn class casserole!!!:)

  • I live in ontario too :D!

  • we have to keep the tips on, they are orions favorite. i am not sure if he actually likes them or he likes the fact i cringe when he chomps the ends, lol.

    xoexo

  • LOL on the Diet Coke with your Double big mac!

  • OMG, I'm hungry for some of these wings! Healthwise, fat is better than sugar. So, I'll be trying this recipe today. Here's my suggestion to avoid a "heart attack-on-a-plate entree": marinade the wings overnight in the lemonade mixture w/o the oil or butter. Bake first until done, then remove from the oven, drain oil and coat with an oil mixture of EVOO and butter. Put back into the oven, allowing the wings to brown. What do you think? Should I let you know my results? OBTW, Thx4Shar'n...

  • Hmmm maybe you could broil the wings for a few to get the crisp youre looking for. I'll give this a try...thanks

  • I want a DOUBLE big mac now ;D

  • The lemon and rosemary does make a nice combination. Maybe you can just use that and the spices next time and it will come out crispier. I like them cripsy too!

  • YUM

  • can you do a video tour of your garden?

  • @SuperCococola I made this video in August of this year when my garden was in full swing. It is middle November in Northern Ontario Canada, garden has been frozen and tilled under for while now :)

  • Tammy do you think this might work better as a marinade maybe? I love the flavor combo idea but I'm with you on the "crispy is better" and eliminating all the oil.

  • I have a recipe for Asian chicken wings which is simply amazing! I never thought of adding lemon to chicken wings. I may try this method. Thanks for sharing!

  • Wow, that looks delicious!

Look at the colour of the chicken.

    Mmmmm ~

  • your measuring cups are so cute! <3

  • you used the thing from the intro :O

  • Love the new intro!! this looks divine!!!

  • makes me hungry..

  • The idea is great; citrus and chicken are a natural combination. I'll do one if I ever get time to get into the kitchen again and send you a message so you know it's there. You made several good points; if they were skinless breasts, the oil and butter may have been needed. What about putting them on a rack in the pan, to be above the fat? Good idea, just not complete maybe?

  • @thizizliz The idea was good, but I would omit the oil all together and halve the butter amount. The wings have plenty of fat in them. It is good that they spend some time in the lemonade sauce because they have a chance to be flavoured by it, but they aren't as crispy as I would like them to me.

  • @yoyomax12 Gotcha. And anything you do to allow more absorption of the lemon while getting them to crisp would make it complicated and blow the simplicity of the recipe. Too bad; its got a great combo of flavors.

  • Love your honesty :)

  • this looks yummy

  • doo yoou upload everyday ? :D

  • @cupcake4271 Not quite everyday, but often :)

  • can you use vegtable oil.??

  • @JustinDrewBieberLuv8 Yes, but I would leave out the oil all together

  • its my birthday today :D
