@stevesnz back then I had an out-dated computer and had the graphics turned on low. Sucky thing is the graphics in this game are pretty good when set on max but by the time I got a new computer the game shut down and reinvented itself as "Heat Online" which is like an arcadey version of Project Torque :( It used to be a very realistic racing game, now-a-days it caters to the idiot Need for Speed people, who obviously don't like realistic physics and handling.

@eminemblackeye I've played Heat. It really stinks compared to the PT days. Level R is a tiny bit better. But nothing as good as PT used to be

@MrGame42 this game no longer exists, however a new game called heat online is based off the same exact engine. Look it up it's called Heat Online - and yes you can play with keyboard.

just wondering . i had it for a while but even with 3 gigs of ram i noticed it still lagged have they made it lighter for older systems or is it a hogg still

as long as you turn the graphics down a bit it's not bad for a system built within the last 3 or 4 years. The framerate overall has somewhat improved over time, but the graphics are just as intense.

actually it kicks ass, why do you think it's bad? I can see why if you are basing your opinion on the last week or two as Aeria has been trying to resolve a server issue, and there's been a lot more lag than usual.

ahhh... well if you have a good computer try it again. It's a lot more enjoyable at max spec, but you probably will want to play with an axbox360 controller instead of keyboard.

also don't base your opinions totally on my videos, as I can only run the game at minimum graphic settings for good FPS thanks to it's good graphics and my mid-range system lol

go to the PT forum in technical help. If you run the duel core I7 and vista 64-bit, they released an update recently but failed on a lot of things with it so several games have had issues with that specific system, and also vista just in general causes some issues. anyway, in the forum you might be able to find a solution, and/or post for assistance. Hope you can play soon, it's a fun game =)

most of the bugs between the game and vista should be fixed now in case you never got to try it.... however now we are having server issues =( they'll be fixed soon tho
