I have two of these that a customer spent where I work. I paid a dollar for the pair. They are 1961, with no mint mark and in very nice condition. The lines on the bells are still very visible. Still nice and shiney, very new looking actually. Are they worth more than face value? And what does the JRS stand for under Franklin's shoulder?
Franklin half dollars are mostly (as far as my knowledge goes) $13.33-15 dollars.

When ever you would see the designated initials, "FBL" in any description of the Franklin Half Dollar, it stands for 'Full Bell Lines'.

@tbear4pa and on a side note FBL is extremely hard to come by.
