ACTS 15:7, After much debate had taken place, PETER got up and said to them , "My brothers..... 15:12 The WHOLE ASSEMBLY fell silent... When Peter (Pope/The Church) speaks; please stay silent!!!
The Roman Catholic in this video said that Paul never refers to Peter as Simon Bar-Jonah, but simply as Cephas or Peter. Well, Peter never refers to Paul as 'Saul,' but just 'Paul,' not his given name either. So, that wasn't a very good argument.
Father Packwa is wrong. Tertullian, Irenaeus and Eusebius all said that Linus was the first bishop of Rome and was ordained by PAUL, who was in Rome before Peter. Peter only went there to be martyred. Peter ordained Clement who was the third bishop of Rome. Linus was the first.
St. peter exhorts the elders, which shows his supremacy over the elders (1Pet 5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed)
Roman Catholics need to meditate on this teaching of Jesus:
"But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all BROTHERS. And do NOT call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and He is in heaven. Nor are you to be called 'teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ.
The greatest among you will be your servant. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted." Matthew 23:8-12
"Through countryside and city [the apostles] preached, and they appointed their earliest converts, testing them by the Spirit, to be the bishops and deacons of future believers. Nor was this a novelty, for bishops and deacons had been written about a long time earlier. . . .
Peter had the primacy as one of the Twelve (Paul would follow) and Matt 16 explains the divinely ordained hierarchical structure of that college of apostles.

For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
