This is a seperate issue to doping. Everyone has the right to an opinion but in the correct forum. Running alongside or in front of rider is risky for themselves and the riders. If a rider goes down it could ruin his entire year and for what?

I agree. Lance never failed a drug test. True. Good enough for many people. Neither did Zabel, Museeuw or Riis, and they all confessed later. Ullrich never failed a test either. Some will say nothing was proven against Tyler Hamilton, Floyd Landis and Michael Rasmussen either. Something like 7 of the top ten 10 in the Tour one year that Lance won were dopers (confirmed or highly suspected). Lance the best? Sure. Lance is minutes better naturally over the dopers? Hmmm...

MLB is full of dopers, but no one really says anything, they still go to games, they don't harangue MLB players for any sort of substance use more than they do for Lance... and there's no proof that he used anything!!!

the reason no one cares about it in MLB is that fitness isnt the leading factor in success in that sport, u can be a fat slow old man and still compete in MLB. Steroids might help driver the ball a little further or recover from a game. On the other hand if lance doped then it is a direct influence on his performance. And like a couple of the guys above said, all the guys who got caught doping wernt through drug tests, they couldnt test for that stuff back then.
