The uncuffed, resisting guy had it coming, but the cuffed guy? I'm a cop and I have to agree with rypool59 to question why the guy that was already cuffed was sprayed?? I'm all about Officer safety, but that man was no threat just because he was clearly running his mouth and didn't want to get sprayed. I understand size difference, but he's already cuffed. If the arresting Officer can articulate why he did it and disprove video evidence, then I back him 100%! Video doesn't lie.

@spd2549 Nah, I'd call it a good macing. In the circumstances in which his partner is trying to put a suspect down, who is resisting, and with me hands on with an increasing incooperative suspect, macing both is fine. Add in the crowd and the fact that its just 2 Cops (U can hear the backups rolling in). As a matter of fact, I may have contributed a kick to helping put the 2nd one down. Just because the cuffs go on, doesnt mean the fight is over. And I'm a PO, also.

@spd2549 The cuffed guy was pulling away when the officer was concerned with his partners safety. He made the best choice.. SPRAY FIRST, KEEP EVERYONE SAFE.
