soundbite sounds very similar to the vee port bov...anyway, can you use this bov on a standard evo 8?..or will it need to be running serious power?

In most applications Race Port will be louder than a Vee Port. It is also a bigger and higher flowing valve. For a standard EVO 8 we would recommend a Mitsubishi Dual Port. It's a bolt on valve which can be used as a bypass, atmo or a combination of both. Go to the turbosmart website and look under BOVs - Model Specific.

no, these products are designed to use on turbocharged engines.

@TXTTOMMY u actually can put a BOV on a non turbo car, even if ppl tell you that u cant. ull just need to attach ur BOV on a cold air intake with a air compressor attached to the battery and add a switch under the clutch! proof: /watch?v=Z_fG_b65WiU
