No political leader ever puts any onus on the American public. No indictment of behaviors that lead to the epidemic of disease. No mention of how we should stop being gluttons for oil. No mention of American corporations saturating the air and water with toxic chemicals. No mention of parental responsibility for the epidemic of childhood obesity. No politician can make the hard changes we need to make. We have to do that ourselves.
@drfittt I don't think I agree that all the issues you mentioned are the biggest issues or even issues to look at, but I very much agree with you that we have to make the important changes ourselves..
@neongala1 Depends on what your objectives are. The CDC has stated that the generation of children has been born that will not out live their parents. If your objective is to prevent that,then the above issues have primacy.
