saw one like this whilst snorkeling on a reef in the Maldives, i only noticed it about a metre and half down because it appeared to be a rock which was wobbling slightly. When swimming down to get a closer look it changed from a coarse sandy colour to a deep burgundy, and swam off to a nearby hole and changed again to a camoflauged state, every now and again opening a huge eyelid to check whether i was still there. Amazing creatures.
I'd like to be...under the sea...in an octopus's garden...in the shade =)
