  • It Would BE Cool Standing in an Airbus A380 Engine at 4 Feet from the inlet , :DD You woulsd be Sucked before you even feel you've been sucked.

  • Its amazing to think that something just sitting there spinning fast could be of use for anything except for sawing on something. This thing cant work until its going ludicrously fast and then it does its best work. I wonder if there are other uses for fast spinning stuff... like time vortices or atomic manufacturing

  • You could have just strapped the camera to the wing!

  • I got to go in a Lear 35 it sounded like that too.

  • my citation was the 525 with fadec and the williams fj44-3a turbofans until it went back to the leasing company!

  • N1400M - Thanks for posting - Very cool and a magnificent plane.

  • @ @ 0

  • it go rotate

  • haha YEEHAAAA!!

  • try to throw a javelin in there and see if it sitll runs, i would be impressed if that still runs. doubt it though.

  • this is your airplane?? like a chartered airplane or a personally owned airplane?

  • how do not get secked in,,,,

  • @taffydavenport1965 not close enough

  • hehe I did that in the test cell too, make sure you don't have a ben in your front pocket !!!!!

  • the most fun thing in the world is when you accomplished something extreme like this one....yeeeeeehaaa!!!!! that's extreme man!!!!

  • You were so lucky that you didn't get sucked into that engine! You definantly deserve a bone-head award of somekind. No common sense whatsoever...!

  • @JackBurtJr

Dude, do your research before making comments like this, ok?

Suction at idle for an egine this small is pretty tame.

  • @JackBurtJr Not just at you, but to everyone... He had no chance of getting sucked into that engine at his distance. You'd have to be standing right next to the cowling to get sucked into a turbine of that size. This is just a cool video, really no danger. People walk all around these aircraft everyday, all day long with running engines. This is coming from an owner of several jet engines, pilot and former FAA air traffic controller.

  • very cool!

  • ah, now I know... thanks!

  • you were standing between the wing and engine.. thats insane.. i thought you just zoomed in from the front

  • yes and then this video would not eaven be here

  • god man! come and pick me up will ya~!

    EGMC - call me first

  • Is that air bleed on right side of those turbine?

  • i would be laughing if the camera got sucked in

  • I love the smell of Jet fuel in the morning and starting engines! Thats Heaven on earth!!!!

  • @SICRedhawk

The smell of wet pussy and sounds of a climaxing woman trumps your jet fuel and engine starts.. Heaven on Earth is waking to a vigorous head job.. for me anyway..

For some of us, jet fuel smells like work..

  • @texNoz head job AND the smell of jet fuel perhaps?

or a head job by a turbofan engine?

    ehh

  • haha i initially thought it was one of those small turbine engines hobbyist have. So watching that thing spool was awsesome. But then i noticed it was a light jet engine..haha. nice anyways.

  • COD5252... Suck my balls dude, seriously, unless you gonna say something positive your just that ass tard out there that people make fun of for saying stupid shit. Go fuck yourself...

    V/r,

    N1400M

  • is the turbine of an aircraft's wing under anjke only that the recovery is on the contrary!

  • What can be sexier than the sound of a jet starting?

    lol

  • A big amen to that.

  • the sound of a fleet of tanks starting.

  • @cyberteque the sound of a sexy womans thong string "twanging"when she peels em off for you.lol

  • LOL "It's Gonna Get Windy"

  • cool. Next time you should throw your shoe in :)

  • With the damage of millions of dollars.

  • Haha as fun as that would be, I need someone to cover the bill for a new engine...

  • I suggestion throw some paper in those, it will shred it better.

    How is that sound!

  • Comment removed

  • a pilot told me that closer than 10 feet to a running jet engine is dangerous. How close were you?

  • It can be depending on the power setting, here is just does a spool and goes directly to idle. I know the plane pretty well, I was about 4 feet from the inlet. You could definately feel the suction, but not too bad ;)

  • it needs to go faster and needs slimmer wind blades to go really fast =]but nice job i liked it

  • The 731's with the c mode are great, never had a problem.

  • no not realy standing in front is but starting not so much

  • Beautiful sound! Great stuff! Thanks for sharing this one.

  • he's lucky he didn't get sucked in :p

  • Tfe 731 engine fits better on learjet 35 :D

  • I used to own a citation 2....it was a tank, now, where would i mount this motor at?

    (1985 chevrolet citation 2 :D )

HAHA J/k, nice sound, always liked a good turbine spool :P

  • Yeah! I Love Cessna's Citation Soo Powerful!

  • Good gravy, how fast do those little fan blades spin?!

  • "Good gravy!"

"Thanks. It's just brown and water."

  • Well fast enough to trun you into minche meat

  • "It's gonna get windy!" lol ahaha

luckey son of a gun and your awsome toy

  • Oh my God... Generation Citation III are Legend

  • Music! Thanks.

  • I may be wrong but I thing that`s just starter working there`s no ignition

  • The starter actuates at 19 seconds and ignition takes place at 26 seconds. Just listen to the change in pitch as the engine spools up during that timeframe.

  • it´s hard to get it but I think you may be right

  • i noticed it very obviously...

  • Yeah... kinda hard to hear that low-frequency sound. Bet this engine have a very small igniter.

  • Lol trust me, there is ignition. The audio on the camera was a little goofy since N2 was already spooled and at idle. ;)

  • ah he's leasing it lol

  • The plane is not leased, It was purcheased on MY american Express card, and I was reimbursed by our company for the cost. Its all us...

  • lol "its gonna get windy"....rich people jokes..

  • mmmmkay I kinda took offense to this one... Im not rich by any means, I work my ass off for what I have. Im an F-18 Mechanic for the Navy, only an E-4 at that. So not a lot of cash. I did have a very good life growing up, but I am by no standards rich... we just fly and maintain the plane

  • nice job!

  • Gods, so Great! i love all Citations.

    Nice, very nice

  • It's gonna get windy! LOL

  • Great seeing the Williams engine at work!

  • Powerfull stuff wow!! Someone please put there hand in there

  • Why is it upside down???

  • why did u take the vid sideways????

  • lol didnt really mean to take the vid sideways, thats just how the camera processed it for some reason

  • I just love this stuff. Was that a Falcon?

  • Actually this is the engine on our Citation 650, we did use to have a Falcon 10 that I did the same with but I cant seem to find that video :)

  • excellant stuff thanks for the reply

  • very good song

  • hahaha

  • We must have something in common, I do the same things to the CJ1+ that I fly!
