omg ... im wanting to get mine out so me and my husband can have another baby and i watched this and it almost made me puke ... they better have some good pain killers if they are doing that to me
Ive had mine for over 4 years, wen i got it it did hurt a bit just a sting n yes a bit cramping but its not that bad! It also depends on how your body will react to it, but i love mine! BUT now im looking for utube videos of experiences of ladies dat remove it, n dam its really freaking me out!!! Ill get it remove soon n im scared to know dat it might hurt really bad once i do it more den putting it in!! D:
I was just telling my husband about having pain and right after you have a baby you automatically forget how much pain you were actually in. I mean like sitting right in the bed while they clean your baby you forget everything. About the teeth lol Well DUH you got through with it. After sitting in the chair with no other choice but to get it done you might as well take it. Instead of having to reschedule another.I think I can take a lot of pain too. Im good wth that but I will never forget pain
I had the 10 year IUD inserted an removed after 1 yr with it. But i had no pain at all with the removal or inserter. The only reason i had it removed was because my husband was unhappy with my crazy menstrual cycle.
OMFG I thought they just pulled on the strings at an angle...this is so abusive.....there's no need to GRAB the cervix with those sharp metal tweezers...I've been had....this is the most awful piece of shit ever..
oh and i had one child before getting mirena nd you know what getting it placed nd removed ws more painful then labor!!!! worst pain of my life literally!
yeah i had this done TODAY nd they made attempts for 3 HOURS while i ws screaming nd crying never again will i get a freakn iud!!! most horrible birth control experience ive had!!!! dosnt hurt my butt!!!! hurt badly when it ws placed 4 years ago ,then strings coiled up nd finally i ws brave enough to ask for it to be removed nd today ws a living hell for me i cried the only good thing i can say is that lil sucker is finally out after lots of pain !!
@beazly85 yeah and you know what else? If you had bad luck like me and got yours inserted by a weird 60 year old woman who used a tenaculum with *teeth*, then you probably suffered the same nightmare I did upon insertion as the b!tch grabbed your cervix with giant tweezers that have metal *teeth* on them to grind into the cervix to prevent it from slipping. When she removed the plastic speculum, I saw FRESH RED BLOOD on the ends. she tried to hide it from me by disposing of it quickly. NIGHTMARE
getting an IUD out isnt as bad as this looks lol I have had 1 taken out and it was very quick and not painfull at all! I now have my second IUD in and am going to keep it in for a few years it last up to 5 years but I will probably only keep it in for 3 so I can have my 3rd child wait till my baby turns 3 to try angain for the next baby!
ive had 2 iuds, i had the first when i was 18 and had the old one replaced after five yrs like your supposed to im 25 now, if you take a motrin before and take it easy afterward for the day the cramping/bleeding is minimal. and i never had a child before it was placed either and i still dont.... you just have to have a really good doctor to place it and remove it...get your check ups regularly and remain safe sexually. i love mine =) its def made my life easier...and NO PERIOD or PMS
it looks very painful but its not YEA IT HURTS BUT TRUST ME GIVING BIRTH IS WAY WORST THEN THIS :) I JST GOT MAIN TODAY AND YEA IT HURTS A LIL AND YEA AM CRAMPING BUT ITS OKEY ITS NOT KILLING ME
@ThykBody Well You must have forgotten What contractions feel like if you think it doesnt hurt to give birth or even sit through the pain for hours. Or had Medication B4 having a baby. After we finish and forget about the pain then we think we can take it again. Its not about having a horrible pregnancy it would always be a crazy pain that cant really be explained in any other pain.
@sparkle11971 I never had contractions before, i just had a baby last week monday on the 24th and that was the first time i experience contractions it was painful but very bearable also felt my vagina burning as he was coming out... remembering how it was the first time it was nothing compared to the second birth real painful but i'd do it again and some people have high tolerance for pain like i do i had 4 wisdom teeth extracted and i felt it all i screamed my head off but i got through it lol
I've had mine for 8 months now. It was THE MOST painful thing I'ver experienced in my life so far. I bled constantly for 3 months after (only light bleeding though) and had cramping for most of the time. Having said that, it definitely reduced and stopped and then my period for 4 months. Now I usually just get cramps during ovulation and that's it. You may get your period randomly though, as I found out this morning :(
I had my first iud inserted 6 weeks after I gave birth to my son and it wasnt bad at all when I got it since my cervix was still dialated. I didnt have any problems those five years but when i went to get it removed and get a new one it was very painful. i almost fainted and was cramping and felt very nauseated. Its been a 3 days since I got the new one inserted and things are back to normal but Im not sure if ill want to go through that again.
had anyone had an iud and doctor kept pulling and could not remove it?
