  • most of the pieces here are soo boring...please could you recommend the songs that are fun to play in book 3

  • Ahh, nice and calming...

Thanks for sharing your performances with us! Keep them coming:)

  • hey Alex.. I'm currently having my piano lessons.. and we're also using the same kind of book. i wanna ask you, what do you do when you sometimes lose your interest in playing?.. because, i do think that I'm not getting any better that's why i seldom plays. :(

  • @alenmarie when I lose my interest.... then I will not touch my piano for sometime, have a little bit of "piano holiday" ( well... the one I just took was about one and a half year ... ) , I have these "piano holiday" often when I used to have my piano lessons.

Try playing other easy pieces, like simplified modern / classical musics, something short and nice ones is good as well

  • And Alenmarie, everyone will get better, we, everyone (as long as i know) experience a "block" or difficult time somewhere in our learning path, in that time we will think we are not improving anymore, and that is perfectly ok & normal. Just take a little break and recharge, try to learn, practice, and get better again, if it is not successul, take a break and try again.

  • Even someone stupid like me can now play piano :p ( although still got a LOT to learn ), so don't give up and I promise you that you will play piano well !

  • @alenmarie

How is it going for you alenmarie?? I'm taking lessons also and in fact this is my current lesson. I sometimes lose interest and work with my instructor to take a break from week and work on something 'Fun'. Maybe that would help!?!?

  • I sometimes feel this way and find something easy and FUN to play and take a break from 'lessons' to find enjoyment again.

Sometimes I actually have to take a 'piano' break too.

This is currently my lesson, so I am not very far in learning but I know I have improved over these months. :D

  • you should try fur elise;) If I'm correct it's near the end the book..

  • @ipamiko hoho, I will reach that eventually

  • Even though the beginning was supposed to be soft, you could build phrases to make it flow better. You also could do the same thing the left hand the whole song. Otherwise, it was good :)

  • @roseblossom4 :) thanks for the suggestion

  • Beautiful Alex, glad you have uploaded again!

  • @Pollewopwop Thanks for watching !

  • Hi alex , can you tell me what book the piece is from , is it the alfreds ? thank you

  • @beverleye Yes that's from alfreds book 3 page 30

  • Very good!

Thanks for all your help in guiding a fellow noob. :)

  • @poshko41 :) you're welcome, thanks for watching
