That's a bold but invalid statement; people can't be rationalized so easily. Though I agree that cuttings fucking weird, it isn't even close to always being done for attention. It's actually a biological manner that releasing certain type of fluid is a good stress release. I'm not saying go out and cut yourself when you're stressed out.
