My X has SUZUKI R600 yellow - something monster... he had a poster of motorcycle and he told me he is gonna get exactly like that - and he did...it's as disease -excitment .If there is something that I miss about him is the motorcycle..I had a tiny biker's leather jacket. and than he is really makes me angry, I cursed him from my depth of my heart that he will get an accident, will not die and will strike the motorcycle - one week later at the same time -everythin' happened.

This has been my long time friend and I have much of experience about it. Top end? no 600 can get with it. On the track? that's a riders ability. Speaking of HP, you've got to bring to the redline. A modern stock 600 doesn't have the horsepower nor the aerodynamics to do a true 180 mph. It's just not physically possible. The best you can hope for from a 600 is 165 mph tops and that's being generous.
Regardless of how aerodynamic modern sportbikes look they are in fact not. The average car is nearly twice as aerodynamic. They rely more on an insane hp-to-weight ratio to achieve fast acceleration but as speed increases drag increases exponentially.
yes what you are saying about the drag and the aeros is right but how come there are videos of lightly modded 07 YZFR6 making 178mph on the autobahn with speedo healer and GPS the works? all you have to do is get a power commander and regear with a sproket add in a speedo healer and your doing 180 easy

There is no more speedometer error bro im on 64th side ..you can find out the obvious way riding get next to a zx-10 or a r1 and the gsx will blow them both at the 200mph the 600 reaches 180 tops and pushing it...it also depends on the elevation of the place where you are riding XD the fight is senseless between these 2

Did Suzuki do away with the speedo error of around 10%. If not Benny is right you are actually doing around 165.
BTW I have an original GSXR...thou and have done a true 165 with room to spare.
