  • You are brave to speak of this

    Be well.

wow the thunder in the background is loud !

    All the best.

  • @faunflynn Thanks. That's Missouri during storm season for you!

  • stay strong honey, this is beautiful that u are so open about this and everything, youre dealing with it well. i hope whenever u feel down u read these comments and remind yourself what a great person u really are:)

  • @Spagoochy 98% of the comments I get a real morale & self-esteem/confidence boosters. I'm still amazed. I expected no one to watch but people watched! I wanted to be completely open from the beginning. I know how hard it is to not be able to talk about certain things to anyone & bringing them out into the open helps - sexuality, family, loss & guilt & shame, rejection. I wanted an environment where those things were hush hush & I had to set the example,. I hope I've helped. It's helped me.

  • thank you very much for your video :)

  • Lost in time.... that really hit a note with me. I can go out of the front door because i need to go to the shops but then i find myself walking across the fields and local pathways.... just in my own world.

When depressed i am very forgetful and lose intrest in things very easily.

I really hope your book gets published, i will definatly buy it. Good luck with it :-)

    Luv

    Cat x

  • How is the seroquel working for you? I just started taking them.

  • 1st started regular Seroquel for delusional memories-psychosis during manic/mixed episode. No more of that but still get grandeur delusion sometimes w/hypo & mania. Later was put on Seroquel XR to relieve unpleasant side effect (heart pounding) & treat irritability. Decreased irritable outbursts, not a sedative like Xanax or Ativan, which I appreciated. Regular Seroquel helped me sleep better than XR does. My dose was upped due to rapid cycling/mixed episodes, don't know if it has worked yet.

  • Wow!! We're 'twins'. When I first started to write this comment, I noticed some ashes on my keyboard, and went to get a damp paper towel to wipe it down, and that was a half hour ago, and the ashes were still there, and I don't really know WHAT I was doing for that half hour. I came back to the computer, then just ended up blowing the ashes off so I could write this, except I don't really remember WHAT I was thinking of writing a half hour ago! (Does that make ANY sense at all?)

  • That sounds about right. For me, it is sometimes the left over from ECT years ago & Topomax that messed up my brain, sometimes it is the result of mood disturbance, and sometimes it is the result of medication, I think. It can suck & it can be funny.

  • I can so relate!!! Love the thunder.

My son saw me watching your video and he said we seem the same. Bipolar 1 has many similarities most certainly.

I also have to look in my mind to find my words."Never know what to expect". You hit the nail right on the head.

You are the first person to explain their life in a way I have mirrored. I'm really incapacitated by the Bipolar but I am going to work , in my home, with an occupational therapist to figure out how I can live functionally. Thx
