I'm a little worried. On one hand I think that if you are going to play as a masked character your secret identity shouldn't be anything like your persona so people won't suspect and nobody would suspect her at first glance.
On the other, it's not that Hathaway is a bad actress I just never really get into her characters. Half the time i don't bother to even remember their names. I just see them as Anne Hathaway's character.
I'm just going to trust Nolan and see what happens.
She is a great actress, so I think she will give us a great performance.Besides, Nolan knows what he´s doing ... we should all understand that at this point, trust all of them (especially Anne) and just wait for the movie.
That's why I think Anne Hathaway will be a great Catwoman. Nolan knows what he's doing as can be seen by the success of his previous 2 batman films, and he wouldn't have picked Hathaway without good judgement and reason.

But anyway, you can argue are about whose more artsy but in the end it comes down too population. Nolan has 5 of his movies in the top 250 on imdb, (based all on used ratings) Fincher has 2. This doesn't prove a lot but does tell you people generally like nolan style. Hes a great story teller clearly his originality is explainable.

@lovelylilac1 Halle Berry can't be the best Catwoman because she never even played Selina Kyle. Her character was called Patience Phillips and had nothing to do with the Batman universe. Why is it so hard for all you Halle Berry fans to understand that?

i was really hoping that the original rumors of joseph-gordon levitt playing the riddler was true for this movie. i think he could make an awesome twisted psycho, i'm not sure how bane is going to entice us, but i am sure cat woman will be pretty good. just hope this isn't like transformers3 and totally ruin the whole "saga" or trilogy whatever it is.

I really think Anne will be an awesome Catwoman. Besides, I don't think the costume is a big problem. If we compare the now Catwoman comic and Anne's Catwoman, there's really not much of difference. They're more practical than anything... Say, where's the whip anyway??

Movie wont be as good as the dark knight. Catwoman's and Bane's story arch sucks it's hard to follow a psychotic anarchist with just a thief and a guy jacked up on drugs. there motives are less interesting

it's not her acting that i'm bothered by it's the costume. it looks to simple and doesn't look like catwoman, i get Nolans probably trying to be smart and say she is a cat burglar thats why she is called catwoman, so instead of her interest in cats and her costume which give her name it's her crimes that name her, i just want it to be closer to the video games and animated shows i guess... i mean with out the cowl how can she hide her identity??? the goggles certainly don't!!!
