In the early '60's I worked in radio in the era of Top 40 and had the good fortune to meet Linda and hear her perform live. And to this day I hve often wondered by no producer ever tapped her to appear in a Broadway musical. Her first hit "I Told Every Little Star" was from the 1932 Hammerstein/Kern "Music in the Air." In my humble opinion Linda's vocal range and stage presence were perfect for the Broadway music of the 60's.

I could definitely imagine Linda on Broadway. She had real class and perfect pitch too! I don't think she ever hit a wrong note.
