  • did you miss me when i was away

  • comment ajoute-on les accents en Youtube ?

  • Seen them live three times, once in Holland and it was sooooo gloriously loud after one song my ears were fried just the way I like 'em. Long Live TYG!!

  • I remember seeing these guys back in 1989 in London & being blown to bits.

  • L'Eau Rouge still sounds fresh, unique and full of fire even today with all of the advances in electronic music. They have such a good sense of composition, it's insane. One of my favorite albums.

  • Great tune!

  • Magistral!

  • this is music. THE music.

  • What a bloody great voice that Franz Treichler has.

A Swiss version of The Doors' Jim Morrison.

Met him a couple of times, and hands down, in my opinion, is THE coolest musician that I've had the fortune to hang out with.

Treated me like I was a member of his family or a long lost friend. Very affable individual.

If you get a chance to attend one of The Young Gods' shows, by all means do so. A treat for the ears indeed.

    Great band.

    Enjoy!

    ;-)

  • @trollcrusher242 I agree! Great band - one of the few industrial bands who also have very good songs (not only cool noises), and Franz is really a nice guy. Fantastic live band - seen them 3 hours ago.

  • @whsonic

First off, I am most envious of you for having just had the splendid opportunity to see and hear the band play live several hours ago. :D

    Very cool indeed.

Yes, I agree with you on your opinion about the band and Franz in particular.

Saw / met him way back on 1990's "L'Eau Rouge / Red Water" tour and again when they opened for Ministry who was on the "Sphinctour" in support of the "Filth Pig" album.

    A good guy indeed.

One of the bands any serious music connoisseur must see.

  • 3:40 onwards, one of the most awesome vocal sustain lines i ever heard. Powerful!

  • @emptyhighways

From 3:44 to 4:00, Franz is actually holding that vocal live ... however, from 4:01 to 4:47, keyboardist Al Comet has taken the note / vocal and has it routed through the keyboard. In essence, it became a live "sample" of Franz.

You can see Al holding the key down with his left hand at the 4:11 mark to accomplish this audio trick. Pretty cool.

A bit of a throwback to early Young Gods when all guitar sounds on their albums / live were sampled from different sources.

    :D

  • crap u r FAG, FUCK YOU

  • the second best thing ever coming out of switzerland. after chocolate :-))

  • @whsonic

The best thing coming out of Switzland is me. ;-)

  • Best ever industrial band ever

  • I just saw Puppy's new show. They set the bar pretty fukin high. I consider both bands to be top class!

  • Et encore vive la Suisse! Merci Franz!

  • Amazing. Would love the full DVD

  • cool!!

  • Still absolutely brilliant. But whatever happened to Use Hiestand on drums? That guy was like a human metronome! Incredible drummer. Still, this other guy is pretty good.

  • WiseBlood, through MySpace, Franz (lead singer) told me Use is now doing stone masonry.

    quelques bons samplers, sequencers, etc...

  • Je voudrai aussi savoir...

  • AAA YE SO GOOD

  • Amazing!!! Awesome!!!!

  • This guys fucking rules! So many years and still rocks with L'amourir!!

  • Fucking awesome video - love these guys.

  • Saw them live twice, just around the time this record first came out. Mindblowing ! Give it another ten years and new bands will be namechecking The Young Gods alongside The Stooges or Kraftwerk.

  • 89's 90's and New Millennium! Who says that old equipment doesn't make good tunes!! Only with an AKAI sampler! That's art, that's genius!!!

  • Saw them 2 times back in the 90's, never heard anything like it, incredible sound.

    thx for posting

  • Incredible!!!!.... The Young Gods are one of the most underrated 80's underground bands... Fuuuuck!!! they are so great....

  • This is great! Thank you for sharing.
