@nochannel123 ~ No, I left SoCal the 1st time in 1978, moving to Spokane, WA. and then on to Lewiston, ID. Then I left the 2nd time in 1991, moving to Dayton, OH. and then on to Baltimore, MD. My 3rd departure was in 2005, moving to Bullhead City, AZ. Inbetween all of that there were numerous other times of flux. In total I've lived in 14 states, currently I am living in the high plains (Pueblo) of Southeastern Colorado.

@mehmystyles That's Rosemary Butler Never seemed to make the big time, but back-up-sang with Jackson Browne, Bruce Springstein, James Taylor, and lots more. The falsetto after Rosemary is David Lindley.Kinda scary..lol. But Lindely is still one of my favorites. I didn't know who sang the vocal until 5 minutes ago, so I looked it up on Wikipedia. I'm not a mass storage of info! Copy and paste this in YT and you get to see her.... Jackson Browne - The Load Out / Stay - Live 1978. Good shit.
Yes she's wonderful. Another one that's really good is Mick Jaggers female backup singer in gimmie shelter. Also Neil Young and Nicolette Larson in comes a time. They all have super good voices. Makes you wonder why they didn't sing with them more.
@mehmystyles she sure is...is that also Frankie Valle doing the 2nd chorus? I love the 4 Seasons version...this one too is really awesome with the different artists kickin up a bit for sweet baby brown

First time I ever heard J. Browne was back in the Spring of 1972, rolling down Hawthorne Blvd. in Torrence, California. I was driving my '70 Plymouth Roadrunner and he was singing "Doctor My Eyes." Kinda hard to believe, that was 39 years ago and I'm still Running On Empty with Jackson.
I got a '71 roadrunner, 383 pistol grip 4 speed, although i'm only 16 haha lots of dishes washed at work to buy that car but I always cruise to this song! I love Jackson Browne! I feel i was born in the wrong generation! There's no cars or music like there use to be.....

Makes me smile and remember that '67 GTO and the quad sound system this album sounded so great on! Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end.
