A big thanks for this video, for a sec I thought i had to erase my enteire computer to get it removed, losing all my music, documents etc. But thanks to you i didn't have to, cheers.
It will go away after a while. I am not sure how I did it but I think I got rid of it when I used AVG virus scan. Just downlaod AVG I believe its free. The problem with Jacobs spyware doctor is you have to pay for it to even merely delete something. I just use AVG. It works well and you don't have to pay to be able to delete things. Its not as efficient as spyware doctor but its free and it worked for me.... Thanks anyway Jacob your a great help.
AVG is not a bad client. The software I recommend does cost money but it's far superior and will actually protect your computer unlike AVG. AVG only kicks in after your computer is infected with a virus. Seriously... It's like says I don't need a helmet in a war. If I get shot I will just go to a hospital. While you may be fine chances are the virus will do it's damage first. Why not just stay protected and never worry about getting infected again.

A few days after that we got the blue screen and handed hard drive over to expert to get everythign wiped from our com so we lost all our stuff :( and it comes back to haunt me but thanks to you I am safe!

Don't be too hard on him. It comes down all the time as a video codec and can even self install in some cases. Doing homework and searching for simple things like bald eagles or liberty bell can often lead to a virus.
thanks i renamed and deleted the folder that caused me all of those false virus alertsbut im still just having a little confusion on the regristry key. im new to this
You are a life saver!! I had so many false virus alerts from installing personal security and you, you saved me money!!! More people need to look at this tutorial because I thought there was no fix.. Thanks
