i think we should look back at our roots. what is our genetically most closest relative in the animal world? the chimpanze. of what consist his diet? fruits, leaves, nuts, seeds, and at last, little protein, found in insects or smaller mammals.
The good thing about Vegan Meal Time is that I actually feel like eating what they make. Epic Meal Time just makes me want to throw up (and I am not even a vegan).
I love this because of reasons! I was making vegan bacon today and I thought of making an epic meal time vegan parody, looked it up, and I found you beautiful humans. Thank you for this!
the thing i can't get behind about veganism is that it's... not necessarily that ethical.
your bananas? mostly grown through slave labour and are considered among the world's most pervasive "conflict foods." soy? mostly GMO and the growing of it implies devastation of arable land, ecosystems and groundwater. agave nectar instead of honey makes no sense ecologically in most regions.
this does look pretty delicious, and you guys are pretty entertaining, but the principles are beyond me.
@MsFiguren depends on the person. I get all my stuff from local farmers at the farmers market, everything organic and non-gmo. i don't buy soy because it is extremely bad for you, but most vegans don't know that, and because i am allergic.
Well that's cool. I definitely respect that, and I acknowledge that it's not everyone, but what I dislike is the dogmatic attitude that comes from a lot of vegans, that because the meat/dairy industry is wacked, therefore it's wrong to eat meat, etc., and then you're ok. It kind of ignores the basic problem that it's the food industry, not food, that's responsible.
I was actually a vegan before but I found it crazy hard to sustain with a local diet. But kudos to you
@MsFiguren ..You just listed 3 problematic foods out of like, 3,000+ kinds of vegan food. Bananas. Soy. Agave. That's like me saying The Beatles sucked because they wrote songs like "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da," "Octopus's Garden," and "Wild Honey Pie." Also, pretty sure the amount of land designated to soy doesn't even compare to the land designated to corn...that the U.S. uses to feed livestock. I really don't want to be all angry vegan on you, but my god woman. My god. Forks Over Knives. Netflix. Go.
That wasn't my point. It'd just be wrong to assume that, because you cut meat, etc. out of your diet, that makes all of your choices totally ethical. The meat industry is particularly problematic because the *food industry* is problematic, on a scale much larger than the concern of meat vs non meat.
Basically I'm saying that it'd be a lot better to focus on ethical eating rather than a singular stance of veganism, because on its own that ignores a lot of present problems.
since cells are all made of proteins its no difference whether you get it from plant or animal tissue as both are living. I personally do think the vegetarian/vegan position is more civilised but on the whole since humans evolved their brains through consuming meat and becoming predators theres nothing really wrong as long as the animal didn't suffer tortuously. I personally eat meat.
@DEEninetysix you can get vegan bacon vegan pepperoni from healthshops and some supermarkets and vegetarian ham slices and vegan sausages and sausagerolls, meat is responsible for so much ill health and diseases (plus world hunger and envrionment and animalabuse) dairy milk is for baby cows grows up and drink plantmilk
@renni1985 sorry, i like taste. i've eaten vegan bacon ect. and it tastes horrible. dairy milk is used to make some of the most delicious foods, and meat is a much better source of protein / taste then lentils, pills ect. grow up and drink plant milk? grow up and drink real milk.
@DEEninetysix yes, of course cow milk is made for humans. that's why half the world is lactose intolerant! silly me for finding the liquid that comes out of another species' nipple completely gross. next time i'm hanging out with a cat i'll give its tit a suck.
@DEEninetysix actually it isn't beneficial at all... you do not get the right calcium that your bones need from milk, if anything milk actually takes away from your bones. all it does is taste good to some people. To smart people it tastes disgusting.
@JazzyJapanx3 Wait, wait, wait... The calcium in cows milk isn't as beneficial to humans as human milk, but it is in no way detrimental to our bones in any way.
What do you mean by smart people? Soda tastes good to most people, yet it is completely horrible for you. Your intellect has absolutely nothing to do with your taste buds.
PLEASE do some reserch before you post these things. You could convince the "Milk Drinkers."
@doghouse144 I did do research on the bone thing, it's completely true. & I didn't phrase that right but i meant health wise smarts. If your smart about your health you will make milk taste bad to you (if it doesn't already) . Iv'e done it so its possible to do.
@JazzyJapanx3 Drinking Cow milk has absolutely no detrimental effects to your bones. The myth regarding that the calcium is bad for the bones has not been proved, therefore it can not be credited.
And again, You can choose to drink milk or not, but just knowing it's "Bad" for you wont make it taste different. Take soda for example, or coffee.
@doghouse144 Milk is still bad for you. Especially in the USA... they allow more pus in the milk than in other countries. It's disgusting. Plus, supporting milk is supporting rape of animals and the veal industry.
@JazzyJapanx3 Rape of animals? You mean breeding, which is done to nearly all other animals, regardless of what intention they are used for. As for pus, it depends on the company. If you get milk from a local farm, or from a small company with local, well-fed milk, it is completely delicious, and pure.
@doghouse144 They forcefully impregnate cows just so that people can have milk that isn't theirs. They are abused and treated badly for something humans dont even need. & You're okay with that? You are a sick human being. & So is everyone else who thinks that it is okay to abuse and rape animals for their own pleasure. It's not like you die without meat and milk... in fact its the complete opposite.
@JazzyJapanx3 It. Is. Called. Breeding. It happens to all animals. Period. And you wont die from eating meat. You will most likely get very sick without the Iron found in red meat. We are omnivores. Not Herbivores.
@doghouse144 Breeding is just a nice way to say RAPE. & yeah you will... Its because of meat that most people get heart attacks and die... Its because of meat that people get sick. You can get iron from beans. So in fact nothing bad will happen to you if you don't eat meat.
@JazzyJapanx3 They aren't the same thing. At all. Yes, it's true that no plants have cholesterol, but having cholesterol is NOT a bad thing In excess it is, but in in moderation, it is very good for you. Same thing for fat. In moderation, it is beneficial.
Meat is a very good, condensed way to get protein, fat and cholesterol, along with iron if it's red meat.
@doghouse144 Breeding: Making more animals... How do you do that if its against the animals naturaly ways? by forcefully impregnating them. Rape: Forcefully impregnating animals.Yeah seems about the same. You can get protein and fat easily from almonds and avocados. Your body naturally makes cholesterol in your liver but you can increase it by eating coconut oil.
@JazzyJapanx3 This is the definition of rape: "The crime, committed by a man, of forcing another person to have sexual intercourse with him, esp. by the threat or use of violence."
And breeding is natural. We are part of this ecosystem as much as these animals. If monkeys breeded dogs, would you consider that artificial as you do with breeding cattle? Humans, Being carnivores need more food. So instead of hunting, we breed. It's far more civilized, It gives us a vital part of our diets: Meat.
@doghouse144 Rape is forced sex. The cows don't want to get pregnant right after they just had a baby, but thats what they do. The cows are sick and thrown out of what they naturally do. They're attached to machines that hurt them as they steal their milk. & yes if monkeys bread dogs i would consider it artificial and cruel. Humans are omnivores not carnivores... we don't NEED meat, it's not a vital part of our diet. We just have the ability to digest meat.
@doghouse144 Rape can also be committed by a woman as well as a man.
& if your saying that we are a part of this ecosystem as much as the animals, then why don't we treat animals with the same respect we treat people? How come its okay to rape and animal but not a person? How come its okay to torture animals and not people? How come its okay to take a baby cow away from its mother and sell it as veal but not okay to take a baby human away from its fit mother and sell it?
We dont NEED to eat animals, therefore we shouldn't. We can survive without meat, why dont we? It would be better for the environment as well. Did you know that most greenhouse gases come from meat and dairy factories? If we stopped breeding and mass producing meat for sale than heck, maybe the polar ice caps wont melt. & We would save a bunch of lives.
@JazzyJapanx3 You don't NEED to eat plants to survive. If we didn't chop down plants, the world would be a better place, right?
This argument could go on forever. Neither side is right. The point is, Being omnivores, we eat meat and plants. If we were herbivores, we would only have molars.
We are in the same ecosystem, so that means everything that is done is done "Naturally."
@doghouse144 Actually you do need plants to survive. & I never asked why don't we eat humans. That's called cannibalism, and it's disgusting. Name something that you can eat that isn't made from a plant. The only thing is meat, and if you only eat meat and nothing else you wont last long.
@JazzyJapanx3 The fact of the matter is, Meat is an easy to obtain food source, that we have made nearly infinite.
Humans are hunters, and foragers. Both. Not just one or the other. The two of them. A healthy diet consists of a mixture of the both. If we weren't supposed to eat meat at all, why do we have canine teeth and an appendix?
@doghouse144 many years ago before meat was made for mass production, it used to be good. Now the animals are sick, crowded, abused, and brutally murdered. I wouldnt be against meat if we still had to hunt for it. That way at least the animal lived a happy life before it got killed. Not like now where too many are born in a factory and the factory is producing a lot of greenhouse gasses that are slowly killing everybody.
@JazzyJapanx3 Why don't we eat humans is just like saying, "Why don't lions eat lions?"
If lions found out a way to create a potential infinite amount of food, would they think it is immoral, and they should stop? It doesn't harm the species as a whole, but only the individuals.
@JazzyJapanx3 If farm animals are the problem, then we must eat them all before they destroy us!! Stop eating our plant-like saviors, you damned, dirty vegans!!!
@JazzyJapanx3 "We dont NEED to eat animals, therefore we shouldn't." That's not a valid argument, that's like saying, we don't NEED computers, cars, money, TVs etc to survive and so we shouldn't have them. Second, eating animals is healthy for us, and is part of our natural instincts so to be honest going against it, is unnatural. As for the green house gases, you're only half right, a lot does come from these animals, but even more are from petrol and diesel and fossil fuel. Cut down on that.
@JazzyJapanx3 Furthermore, we humans also are emitting a VERY large amount of green house gases, does that mean we should stop breeding? No, I don't think so.
@kelvioss A lot of people should stop breeding, we don't need idiots having babies... but thats not something we can control effectively. I highly doubt that... show me your proof.
why say furthermore if it's your first comment to me?
@JazzyJapanx3 And did you know that the cows we eat devour the plants you eat?
You should be thanking us for saving some food to you. Without meat eaters there would be no food to vegans.
Hehehe
(This was just sarcasm, although I'm not a vegan neither will be, I found this f-ed up logic amusing. If you take me seriously then you failed at life)
@JazzyJapanx3 Just because I don't need something to survive doesn't mean I shouldn't do it. By that logic I SHOULD live in a cave because I don't NEED to live in an house/apartment and I SHOULD poop outside and wipe my ass with leaves because I don't NEED to use a toliet. The only good reason for being a vegetarian (not vegan) is that it's healthy. Animals are stupid and in most cases useless (take pigs), & alternative energies are the better option overall.
@MyTheDarkKnight Houses/Apartment & Toilets are actually necessities... they make things more sanitary and healthier. They DONT cause sickness they prevent it. Next time you try to make a point, make sure its good.
& Pigs are extremely intelligent creatures and make excellent pets.
@JazzyJapanx3 I only "need" food, water, air and shelter. Your logic fails. How is releasing feces in a forest less sanitary than in a toilet? I don't NEED luxuries like toilets to survive, but I use them because they are convenient.
Pigs can't comprehend the universe (can't stop meteors with hydrogen bombs like we can), they're stupid. Feeling and social parallels with humans is not intelligence, it's useless emotion. Solar.
@MyTheDarkKnight Because a forest has bugs and stuff that can bite you, you cant leave toilet paper in the forest and theres no where to properly wash your hands to further prevent illness. The fact that in the past we didnt use restrooms actually caused a lot of people to be sick and the streets to be highly unsanitary.
Pigs are still creatures, useful & intelligent or not makes no difference to the fact that they are here for a reason.
@JazzyJapanx3 Pigs are here for a REASON? What reason is this? Don't tell me your a creationist now. Every field of science has confirmed evolution with empirical evidence. There is no reason, no bias, just selection based on environment. You and every other creature is a biological problem solving machine. This is an empirical fact that has been confirmed by neuroscience, evolution, biology, and chemistry.
@JazzyJapanx3 Pigs, like humans, are just biological computers whose purpose is to survive indefinitely via DNA propagation. Our software is over 9000. Immortality is in our grasp, we are the most purpose fulfilling creatures on the planet (in terms of fulfilling life's objective purpose of NOT DYING). We can potentially survive the planet being destroyed by moving to other solar systems/galaxies. Have a little more pride in being a Great Ape. Our DNA is life's greatest achievement.
@JazzyJapanx3 I am a better survivor and thinker than every other life form on this planet, yes this is true. My species can go to space. Pigs and cows on the other hand...
@JazzyJapanx3 Compassion for vertebrates is evolutionary baggage. You subconsciously like mammals especially and feel more compassion for them because you were programmed to. What I don't understand is why this is important as it has nothing to do with the objective purpose of life that only we can fulfill at this point.
@MyTheDarkKnight i wasnt programmed to feel compassionate about mammals. I'm not a computer, i cant be programmed. I dont feel more compassionate about mammals than i do about other types of animals. Heck i could care less for humans, & we are mammals. Many humans are just ignorant pricks and others are plain stupid and shouldnt be on this planet. Humans need to stop thinking that we are better than every other creature on this planet and that it automatically makes them all insignificant and
@JazzyJapanx3 You were programmed to feel this. You were also programmed to have a beating heart and many self correcting systems that maintain your balance, keep your visual processing functions, etc. You are a problem solving machine. Your mind makes up its mind before you make a decision. You have built in software. These are all empirical facts confirmed by years of accumulated evidence. If you don't accept this then you are just being ignorant and lack understanding.
@MyTheDarkKnight Look dude, im really sick of your "im better than everything therefore i should eat it" attitude. so after this, im going to stop wasting my time on you. i know that veganism is the best thing for this planet and im sticking by what i know. whether you want to believe me or not just shows how you are as a person. You think youre so smart when your just describing the human body as a computer. We are not similar to computers... computers are similar to us.......
@JazzyJapanx3 ... if you want to go eat that pig than you are contributing to the death of this planet. That pig eats a lot of crops. The crop space we have just to feed the animals we are going to slaughter is a lot of wasted space that could be used to feed the people on this planet that are starving and need food but live in areas that cant grow crops.
@JazzyJapanx3 its true we dont need meat but its to satisfy the pleasure for many people. we dont NEED a tv or a pool or sweets but we have them because our senses desire it. meat is also used to meet our senses' wants in a similar way. of course some people do not like meat so this does not apply for everyone but its just not possible to take away meat from the human society. so go ahead and be a vegan and i wont care and ignore me while i go eat a dead cow.
@bananerseater its because the THINK they need it. not everyone has a pool, its not self evident. but meat is supposedly part of our diet, you know, the health pyramid they show us in school. meat has become self evident due to mass production. some people just dont get how wrong and immoral these "farms" are. besides, its just that in this century, you dont have to be rich anymore to get meat
@noXmoreXnames you can get vegan bacon vegan pepperoni from healthshops and some supermarkets and vegetarian ham slices and vegan sausages and sausagerolls
I don't mean to intrude in your personal lives but while I have total respect for vegeterians and those who have compassion for animals, I think you vegands take things too far with not wanting to eat dairy products such as milk and eggs. They're not animal meat itself and eating them isn't killing the animals. Eggs maybe but the chicks aren't yet born or growing when they're taken.
@philipmarie1854 Actually, milk and egg production definitely contributes to the death and torture of animals. Look it up. Eggs = Thousands of male chicks being ground up alive in grinders because they're "worthless". Milk = Cows being kept constantly impregnated against their will, and their babies taken away at a young age and slaughtered to be veal. And all the chickens and cows that make eggs and milk are slaughtered once they can't anymore. Not eating dairy is a compassionate thing to do.
@philipmarie1854 Cows only produce milk during the months before and after pregnancy, so they're kept perpetually pregnant to keep the milk coming. Their babies are sold to the veal industry. Baby male chicks will not lay eggs, so they're useless to the egg industry, most are killed shortly after birth, usually by being dropped into a grinding machine whilst fully conscious. By supporting the milk and egg industries, one is still supporting meaningless slaughter of animals.
@SPSFOREVER OK, Ok, I understand but still, you must understand that there are tons of people who don't have food in the world, what do you expect them to do? If we send food to them, they'll have to have their fair share of meat. Not only that but if all the countries of the world suddenly banned eating meat, what do you think will happen? The economy would beocme utterly screwed up and people would die of hunger since they can't eat meat anymore. While it's better to rear animals in farms, we
@philipmarie1854 It takes 16 pounds of grain to produce 1 pound of meat. If animals weren't bred in such huge numbers (only to live their lives in unnatural, often torturous conditions to be killed at a fraction of their lifespan), then all the excess plants used to feed them could go to those third world countries and end world hunger. Then they wouldn't need to eat meat anymore either.
@SPSFOREVER Yet not everyone wants to eat only plants. You may not know this but even if the countries did make laws banning meat eating, how do you think people will react? Vegans aren't the majority you know and even vegeterians eat fish and dairy products. Will they not make protests in the streets? Are you honestly going to tell me without guilt that we should take meat away from poor people? What about those who are allergic to certain plants? Secondly, where shall we put all these animals
@philipmarie1854 This is what I am suggesting. 1: Stop meat/Dairy production in MEDC's. 2: Give the excess plant material to third world inhabitants (if they're allergic to a plant, they can eat a different one). 3: Be satisfied knowing world hunger is over, CO2 emissions have been cut by 40%, and the unethical treatment of animals is over. They can protest all they like, just because people don't want to do it doesn't mean its wrong.
@SPSFOREVER can't do anything with rearing them in factories in order to feed an entire city. I'm not against natural rearing, but the only alternitave we have is to make a miles long zoo for each city to have enough animals for natural farming. And fishing? I mean, fish are just essential to ones food growth. And really, if baby male chicks are killed fully conscious, wouldn't that mean they're wasting good meat for chicken nugets and what not?
@philipmarie1854 The meat from the baby chicks isnt thrown away, they factory staff refer to it as 'recycling' (which means it probably ends up in pet food). It sounds like you're suggesting that eating meat/fish is necessary for survival, which is disproved by the fact that vegetarians/vegans are alive and well. I'm not arguing for natural rearing, I'm arguing against 'rearing' of any kind. Let the animals live their lives in peace.
@SPSFOREVER if they want to live happy lives? Where would w eput them, in the wild? On what will they live on? If we let them live, they'll out populate us, eat our food and we'll have little to survive on. What about other animals that eat meat, such as out pets and what not? Cats can't digest cellulose for one thing and no animal is very fond of plants. Vegans may be healthy, but not all people are vegans, even if they don't eat food for pleasure. We've been doing it since the begining of time
@philipmarie1854 Let them go live in their natural habitats. They won't overpopulate us, their numbers if left to breed naturally would be tiny compared to their current numbers being bred for food. Vegan pet food is readily available. We did it in the past because we didnt have the intelligence to seek our nutrients elsewhere. That doesnt mean we can keep doing it now, because now we do have that intelligence.
@SPSFOREVER and we're not going to stop. Becuase you eat or rear animals does not make you a bad person at all. We don't encourage being sadistic to animals, not at all, but eating meat is necessary for humans to survive, otherwise, if we jsut let them liveand over-populate, we'd be the ones clamoring for survival.
@philipmarie1854 Eating meat is not necessary for humans to survive, since I (as well as the chaps in this video) are not dead. See below for my argument against your overpopulation claim. We may have done it in the past, but now we simply do not have to. Its time for us to evolve.
@philipmarie1854 And a 'cold-turkey' style ban isn't necessary, the change will happen in time. The number of vegans in the U.S alone has doubled since 1994, its on the rise. It may or may not happen in mine or your lifetime, but be sure, it'll happen. We humans rose above racism, we rose above sexism, we'll rise above speciesism too. And that'll be a glorious day for humanity.
@SPSFOREVER I concluded one thing: I'm sorry but you're insane if you think that. For starters, racism wasn't always the porblem you think it. I'm not racist myself of course, but people became slaves in the middle ages through means of war. Most of the slaves were Muslims while they themselkves ahd christian slaves. It wasn't an issue of race, it was of war. In fact, when Columbus discovered AMerica, alot of countres such a Spain and Italy forbade enslaving them. Hell, the only people Europe
@SPSFOREVER actually fought were Muslim countries, unlike alot of African countries which were predominantly Christian. Secondly, sexism of the past is just a myth. Witches for one thing were very seldom killed and it wasn't because they were women: men were killed too. Did we put women into concentration camps because they were women? If women had it hard before, so did men: both had to learn their own trade and both could work in the fields. Women could become knights or soldiers because it is
@SPSFOREVER a job more suitable to men and not to women who are rather weaker in the body (not in the mind). Not only that but they themslves could get jobs selling, they could become queens as history will tell you and touch ones at that. Isabella II of Castille, Elizabeth of Hungary, Elizabeth I etc... Not even forced marriage was common at all. The common age at that time of marriage was as normal as of today. They didn't think women were inferior to men, they just thought that women couldn't
@philipmarie1854 The references were actually to the KKK/Nazism and women not being able to vote. In both cases, the stronger group regarding the weaker group as lesser beings, and thus they had the right to treat them however they wanted. You can call me insane if you like, thats your opinion, but as I've said, both vegetarianism and veganism are on the rise, and there are statistics to prove it. People calling us insane isn't going to keep the world from waking up.
@SPSFOREVER have certian manly jobs. Hell, who do you think influenced the children more, the father who would work or the mother whos tayed at home?
And, unlike racism and 'sexism', meat eating was ALWAYS common. Eating meat never affected how bad a society is, and both women and ALL races do it. Not one single damn race condemns meat eating. We will never become vegans as a whole, least of all if we can't drink milk and airy products which help people so much. get it straight.
@philipmarie1854 We dont have to be vegans as a whole, there are still neonazis and KKK rallys going on today. But now most people have the sense to pay them no mind. There are plenty of alternatives to milk and dairy products that "help people so much" which are just as nutritional. Theres an alternative for practically every animal product out there. Get it straight.
@philipmarie1854 But I can see I'm not getting through. So I'll just say this: Eating meat starves the world, eating meat kills the planet. Eating meat is unethical to animals. There are statistics and facts to prove it all. With that good sir, I bid you goodnight. God bless you and your family. Peace
@SPSFOREVER On a diffirent subject, what is the vegan view on abortion? Because seieng as you defend animals so much, I think that you vegans would be very protective of unborn babies, a very, very rightly so. I'me VERY anti-abortion because there is no excuse to abort a baby, even if he was a child by rape or if there is a risk of the woman dying, UNLESS the baby is 100% dead inside the womb. Thats it. What do vegans say on abortion?
@philipmarie1854 An interesting question. theres no unanimous vegan opinion on the matter that I'm aware of. But I personally would say abortion is unethical once the foetus' brain is sufficiently developed enough for it to achieve consciousness. Unfortunately, medical science isn't advanced enough yet for us to accurately determine when that would be, you'd have to ask a neurologist for a vaguely reliable estimate. I would expect that most Vegans would arrive at a similar conclusion.
@SPSFOREVER I say that abortion, even if the fetus suddenly got a brain a day BEFORE HE WAS BORN AND NOT CONCEIVED is still unethical because it destroys not a potential human but a human being who has not developed his brain yet. No, fetuses are human from day one because they grow, feel, reproduce cells and other necessary things needed to be considered a living thing. It isn't a mass of tissue like a dead body because fetuses ARE NOT DEAD. Try telling that to pro-choice dumbasses. I said that
@philipmarie1854 (No it may not be dead, but neither is a plant. Given that potential is not a morally relevant characteristic (else we must conclude that allowing a woman to ever have a period is unethical), a foetus that does not possess consciousness, has none. Why then, given that it has no morally relevant characteristic, should it be given moral status? Don't get me wrong, once it has such a characteristic, I would defend its right to life fiercely)

@DEEninetysix you can get vegan bacon vegan pepperoni from healthshops and some supermarkets and vegetarian ham slices and vegan sausages and sausagerolls, meat is responsible for so much ill health and diseases (plus world hunger and envrionment and animalabuse) dairy milk is for baby cows grows up and drink plantmilk
renni1985 2 months ago
@renni1985 sorry, i like taste. i've eaten vegan bacon ect. and it tastes horrible. dairy milk is used to make some of the most delicious foods, and meat is a much better source of protein / taste then lentils, pills ect. grow up and drink plant milk? grow up and drink real milk.
DEEninetysix 2 months ago
@DEEninetysix 'Real milk' eh? I suppose you mean human breast milk then. Definitely not cows milk, which again, is for baby cows...

@DEEninetysix yes, of course cow milk is made for humans. that's why half the world is lactose intolerant! silly me for finding the liquid that comes out of another species' nipple completely gross. next time i'm hanging out with a cat i'll give its tit a suck.
cezipoppet 2 months ago 29
@cezipoppet its not made for humans, but its very beneficial to humans, those who are lactose tolerant. plus, cat milk would be disgusting!
DEEninetysix 2 months ago
@DEEninetysix there was not one fact in that response lmao.
toobeasty6 2 months ago
@DEEninetysix actually it isn't beneficial at all... you do not get the right calcium that your bones need from milk, if anything milk actually takes away from your bones. all it does is taste good to some people. To smart people it tastes disgusting.
JazzyJapanx3 2 months ago
@JazzyJapanx3 Wait, wait, wait... The calcium in cows milk isn't as beneficial to humans as human milk, but it is in no way detrimental to our bones in any way.
What do you mean by smart people? Soda tastes good to most people, yet it is completely horrible for you. Your intellect has absolutely nothing to do with your taste buds.
PLEASE do some reserch before you post these things. You could convince the "Milk Drinkers."
doghouse144 2 months ago
@doghouse144 I did do research on the bone thing, it's completely true. & I didn't phrase that right but i meant health wise smarts. If your smart about your health you will make milk taste bad to you (if it doesn't already) . Iv'e done it so its possible to do.
JazzyJapanx3 2 months ago
@JazzyJapanx3 Drinking Cow milk has absolutely no detrimental effects to your bones. The myth regarding that the calcium is bad for the bones has not been proved, therefore it can not be credited.
And again, You can choose to drink milk or not, but just knowing it's "Bad" for you wont make it taste different. Take soda for example, or coffee.
doghouse144 2 months ago
@doghouse144 Milk is still bad for you. Especially in the USA... they allow more pus in the milk than in other countries. It's disgusting. Plus, supporting milk is supporting rape of animals and the veal industry.
Soda and Coffee do taste bad.
JazzyJapanx3 2 months ago
@JazzyJapanx3 Rape of animals? You mean breeding, which is done to nearly all other animals, regardless of what intention they are used for. As for pus, it depends on the company. If you get milk from a local farm, or from a small company with local, well-fed milk, it is completely delicious, and pure.
doghouse144 2 months ago
@doghouse144 They forcefully impregnate cows just so that people can have milk that isn't theirs. They are abused and treated badly for something humans dont even need. & You're okay with that? You are a sick human being. & So is everyone else who thinks that it is okay to abuse and rape animals for their own pleasure. It's not like you die without meat and milk... in fact its the complete opposite.
JazzyJapanx3 2 months ago
@JazzyJapanx3 It. Is. Called. Breeding. It happens to all animals. Period. And you wont die from eating meat. You will most likely get very sick without the Iron found in red meat. We are omnivores. Not Herbivores.
doghouse144 2 months ago
@doghouse144 Breeding is just a nice way to say RAPE. & yeah you will... Its because of meat that most people get heart attacks and die... Its because of meat that people get sick. You can get iron from beans. So in fact nothing bad will happen to you if you don't eat meat.
JazzyJapanx3 2 months ago
@JazzyJapanx3 They aren't the same thing. At all. Yes, it's true that no plants have cholesterol, but having cholesterol is NOT a bad thing In excess it is, but in in moderation, it is very good for you. Same thing for fat. In moderation, it is beneficial.
Meat is a very good, condensed way to get protein, fat and cholesterol, along with iron if it's red meat.
doghouse144 2 months ago
@doghouse144 Breeding: Making more animals... How do you do that if its against the animals naturaly ways? by forcefully impregnating them. Rape: Forcefully impregnating animals.Yeah seems about the same. You can get protein and fat easily from almonds and avocados. Your body naturally makes cholesterol in your liver but you can increase it by eating coconut oil.
JazzyJapanx3 2 months ago
@JazzyJapanx3 This is the definition of rape: "The crime, committed by a man, of forcing another person to have sexual intercourse with him, esp. by the threat or use of violence."
And breeding is natural. We are part of this ecosystem as much as these animals. If monkeys breeded dogs, would you consider that artificial as you do with breeding cattle? Humans, Being carnivores need more food. So instead of hunting, we breed. It's far more civilized, It gives us a vital part of our diets: Meat.
doghouse144 2 months ago
@doghouse144 Rape is forced sex. The cows don't want to get pregnant right after they just had a baby, but thats what they do. The cows are sick and thrown out of what they naturally do. They're attached to machines that hurt them as they steal their milk. & yes if monkeys bread dogs i would consider it artificial and cruel. Humans are omnivores not carnivores... we don't NEED meat, it's not a vital part of our diet. We just have the ability to digest meat.
JazzyJapanx3 2 months ago
@doghouse144 Rape can also be committed by a woman as well as a man.
& if your saying that we are a part of this ecosystem as much as the animals, then why don't we treat animals with the same respect we treat people? How come its okay to rape and animal but not a person? How come its okay to torture animals and not people? How come its okay to take a baby cow away from its mother and sell it as veal but not okay to take a baby human away from its fit mother and sell it?
JazzyJapanx3 2 months ago
@doghouse144
JazzyJapanx3 2 months ago 13
@JazzyJapanx3 You don't NEED to eat plants to survive. If we didn't chop down plants, the world would be a better place, right?
This argument could go on forever. Neither side is right. The point is, Being omnivores, we eat meat and plants. If we were herbivores, we would only have molars.
We are in the same ecosystem, so that means everything that is done is done "Naturally."
doghouse144 2 months ago
@doghouse144 Actually you do need plants to survive. & I never asked why don't we eat humans. That's called cannibalism, and it's disgusting. Name something that you can eat that isn't made from a plant. The only thing is meat, and if you only eat meat and nothing else you wont last long.
JazzyJapanx3 2 months ago
@JazzyJapanx3 The fact of the matter is, Meat is an easy to obtain food source, that we have made nearly infinite.
Humans are hunters, and foragers. Both. Not just one or the other. The two of them. A healthy diet consists of a mixture of the both. If we weren't supposed to eat meat at all, why do we have canine teeth and an appendix?
doghouse144 2 months ago
@doghouse144 many years ago before meat was made for mass production, it used to be good. Now the animals are sick, crowded, abused, and brutally murdered. I wouldnt be against meat if we still had to hunt for it. That way at least the animal lived a happy life before it got killed. Not like now where too many are born in a factory and the factory is producing a lot of greenhouse gasses that are slowly killing everybody.
JazzyJapanx3 2 months ago
@JazzyJapanx3 You should start doing what I do, then.

Cut down on that.
kelvioss 1 month ago
@JazzyJapanx3 Furthermore, we humans also are emitting a VERY large amount of green house gases, does that mean we should stop breeding? No, I don't think so.
kelvioss 1 month ago
@kelvioss A lot of people should stop breeding, we don't need idiots having babies... but thats not something we can control effectively. I highly doubt that... show me your proof.

but thankfully youre just kidding :p
JazzyJapanx3 3 weeks ago
@JazzyJapanx3 Just because I don't need something to survive doesn't mean I shouldn't do it. By that logic I SHOULD live in a cave because I don't NEED to live in an house/apartment and I SHOULD poop outside and wipe my ass with leaves because I don't NEED to use a toliet. The only good reason for being a vegetarian (not vegan) is that it's healthy. Animals are stupid and in most cases useless (take pigs), & alternative energies are the better option overall.
MyTheDarkKnight 3 weeks ago
@MyTheDarkKnight Houses/Apartment & Toilets are actually necessities... they make things more sanitary and healthier. They DONT cause sickness they prevent it. Next time you try to make a point, make sure its good.
& Pigs are extremely intelligent creatures and make excellent pets.
& What do you mean by alternative energies btw?
JazzyJapanx3 3 weeks ago
@JazzyJapanx3 I only "need" food, water, air and shelter. Your logic fails. How is releasing feces in a forest less sanitary than in a toilet? I don't NEED luxuries like toilets to survive, but I use them because they are convenient.
Pigs can't comprehend the universe (can't stop meteors with hydrogen bombs like we can), they're stupid. Feeling and social parallels with humans is not intelligence, it's useless emotion. Solar.
MyTheDarkKnight 3 weeks ago
@MyTheDarkKnight Because a forest has bugs and stuff that can bite you, you cant leave toilet paper in the forest and theres no where to properly wash your hands to further prevent illness. The fact that in the past we didnt use restrooms actually caused a lot of people to be sick and the streets to be highly unsanitary.
Pigs are still creatures, useful & intelligent or not makes no difference to the fact that they are here for a reason.
JazzyJapanx3 3 weeks ago
@JazzyJapanx3 Pigs are here for a REASON? What reason is this? Don't tell me your a creationist now. Every field of science has confirmed evolution with empirical evidence. There is no reason, no bias, just selection based on environment. You and every other creature is a biological problem solving machine. This is an empirical fact that has been confirmed by neuroscience, evolution, biology, and chemistry.
MyTheDarkKnight 3 weeks ago
@JazzyJapanx3 Pigs, like humans, are just biological computers whose purpose is to survive indefinitely via DNA propagation. Our software is over 9000. Immortality is in our grasp, we are the most purpose fulfilling creatures on the planet (in terms of fulfilling life's objective purpose of NOT DYING). We can potentially survive the planet being destroyed by moving to other solar systems/galaxies. Have a little more pride in being a Great Ape. Our DNA is life's greatest achievement.

MyTheDarkKnight 3 weeks ago
@MyTheDarkKnight i wasnt programmed to feel compassionate about mammals. I'm not a computer, i cant be programmed. I dont feel more compassionate about mammals than i do about other types of animals. Heck i could care less for humans, & we are mammals. Many humans are just ignorant pricks and others are plain stupid and shouldnt be on this planet. Humans need to stop thinking that we are better than every other creature on this planet and that it automatically makes them all insignificant and

JazzyJapanx3 2 weeks ago
@JazzyJapanx3 ... if you want to go eat that pig than you are contributing to the death of this planet. That pig eats a lot of crops. I don't mean to intrude in your personal lives but while I have total respect for vegeterians and those who have compassion for animals, I think you vegands take things too far with not wanting to eat dairy products such as milk and eggs. They're not animal meat itself and eating them isn't killing the animals. Eggs maybe but the chicks aren't yet born or growing when they're taken.
philipmarie1854 3 months ago

SPSFOREVER 3 months ago
@SPSFOREVER OK, Ok, I understand but still, you must understand that there are tons of people who don't have food in the world, what do you expect them to do? If we send food to them, they'll have to have their fair share of meat. Not only that but if all the countries of the world suddenly banned eating meat, what do you think will happen? The economy would beocme utterly screwed up and people would die of hunger since they can't eat meat anymore. While it's better to rear animals in farms, we
philipmarie1854 3 months ago
@philipmarie1854 It takes 16 pounds of grain to produce 1 pound of meat. If animals weren't bred in such huge numbers (only to live their lives in unnatural, often torturous conditions to be killed at a fraction of their lifespan), then all the excess plants used to feed them could go to those third world countries and end world hunger. Then they wouldn't need to eat meat anymore either.
SPSFOREVER 3 months ago
@SPSFOREVER Yet not everyone wants to eat only plants. You may not know this but even if the countries did make laws banning meat eating, how do you think people will react? Vegans aren't the majority you know and even vegeterians eat fish and dairy products. Will they not make protests in the streets? Are you honestly going to tell me without guilt that we should take meat away from poor people? What about those who are allergic to certain plants? Secondly, where shall we put all these animals
philipmarie1854 3 months ago
@philipmarie1854 This is what I am suggesting. 1: Stop meat/Dairy production in MEDC's. 2: Give the excess plant material to third world inhabitants (if they're allergic to a plant, they can eat a different one). 3: Be satisfied knowing world hunger is over, CO2 emissions have been cut by 40%, and the unethical treatment of animals is over. They can protest all they like, just because people don't want to do it doesn't mean its wrong.
SPSFOREVER 3 months ago
@SPSFOREVER can't do anything with rearing them in factories in order to feed an entire city. I'm not against natural rearing, but the only alternitave we have is to make a miles long zoo for each city to have enough animals for natural farming. And fishing? I mean, fish are just essential to ones food growth. And really, if baby male chicks are killed fully conscious, wouldn't that mean they're wasting good meat for chicken nugets and what not?
philipmarie1854 3 months ago
@philipmarie1854 The meat from the baby chicks isnt thrown away, they factory staff refer to it as 'recycling' (which means it probably ends up in pet food). It sounds like you're suggesting that eating meat/fish is necessary for survival, which is disproved by the fact that vegetarians/vegans are alive and well. I'm not arguing for natural rearing, I'm arguing against 'rearing' of any kind. Let the animals live their lives in peace.
SPSFOREVER 3 months ago
@SPSFOREVER if they want to live happy lives? Where would w eput them, in the wild? On what will they live on? If we let them live, they'll out populate us, eat our food and we'll have little to survive on. What about other animals that eat meat, such as out pets and what not? Cats can't digest cellulose for one thing and no animal is very fond of plants. Vegans may be healthy, but not all people are vegans, even if they don't eat food for pleasure. We've been doing it since the begining of time
philipmarie1854 3 months ago
@philipmarie1854 Let them go live in their natural habitats. They won't overpopulate us, their numbers if left to breed naturally would be tiny compared to their current numbers being bred for food. Vegan pet food is readily available. We did it in the past because we didnt have the intelligence to seek our nutrients elsewhere. That doesnt mean we can keep doing it now, because now we do have that intelligence.
SPSFOREVER 3 months ago
@SPSFOREVER and we're not going to stop. Becuase you eat or rear animals does not make you a bad person at all. We don't encourage being sadistic to animals, not at all, but eating meat is necessary for humans to survive, otherwise, if we jsut let them liveand over-populate, we'd be the ones clamoring for survival.
philipmarie1854 3 months ago
@philipmarie1854 Eating meat is not necessary for humans to survive, since I (as well as the chaps in this video) are not dead. See below for my argument against your overpopulation claim. We may have done it in the past, but now we simply do not have to. Its time for us to evolve.
SPSFOREVER 3 months ago
@philipmarie1854 And a 'cold-turkey' style ban isn't necessary, the change will happen in time. The number of vegans in the U.S alone has doubled since 1994, its on the rise. It may or may not happen in mine or your lifetime, but be sure, it'll happen. We humans rose above racism, we rose above sexism, we'll rise above speciesism too. And that'll be a glorious day for humanity.
SPSFOREVER 3 months ago

I said that
philipmarie1854 3 months ago
@philipmarie1854 (No it may not be dead, but neither is a plant. Given that potential is not a morally relevant characteristic (else we must conclude that allowing a woman to ever have a period is unethical), a foetus that does not possess consciousness, has none. Why then, given that it has no morally relevant characteristic, should it be given moral status? Don't get me wrong, once it has such a characteristic, I would defend its right to life fiercely)
