I was going to get Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 for my Bday in November ...However I think I am going to change that to getting Battlefield 3 and Resistance 3 . I always get a COD game every year , but there is just waaay too many awesome PS3 exclusives coming out that just look incredible . Because unlike Modern Warfare 3's developers(Xbox fanboys) , The developers of games like Killzone 3 , Resistance 3 , and Uncharted 3 use almost all of the Ps3's graphical potential.

I never played Resistance 2 but I got Resistance: FoM with my PS3. Personally I didn't like it, mainly because it felt like a cartoon and it was a real chore to finish. From this video, number 3 doesn't look like much more fun either.

@GetPatriotized Because theyre so unimaginative and boring, I like the trophies in Killzone 3, e.g. Get three kills with the pistol without reloading or changing weapons. Theyre fun trophies, the resistance trophies can be unlocked just by repetitive gameplay, theyre not challenging.

5 things I think are to be pointed out:

1-YAY weapon well is back, we´ve got the Re1 feel back :D

2-Looks like your allies have upgraded even further: Re1- Army Rangers/British Army Re2- Black Ops./ Sentinels... now Re3 tops it all with... REDNECKS XD

3-I suppose the "lv. 1" means weapons are now upgradable O_O

4-Contrary to most FPS nowadays, looks like Re3 has health kits and non-regenarating health (that may be a challenge 8/)

5-New enemies (yay for gorilla boyz and mecha legs XP)

It's been confirmed that every weapon in the game has 2 upgrades. I also love that they included health packs, because it adds more strategy to the game. Having regenerated health just makes it generic and less intense because you already know your health is going to heal itself if you hide. I'd say this game will take a lot of skill to beat, just like R:FoM on Superhuman.

Ya, its great to see gorillas too. Humans are dieing out so they have to use animals, just like the R2 trex

The animations are stiff because they aren't finished with thee mutiplayer yet. Things like character skins haven't even been included yet and they are still touching up the other maps. And because they lowered the it to 8 v8 doesn't mean the game is gonna be sucky. If it was I doubt the guys on every video game site who actually played this would be praising the graphics and gameplay so much.

i hate to say this but most of what I just saw is the usual generic shooting experience. I was a huge fan of the first game. Then I bought the second game, and it was ok. In R2 i noticed a lot of poorly done graphics and textures, as if the developers were getting lazy on the graphics. Some of the textures are really good though. I hope they step it up this time so it can match killzone 3

@sneedledout That not even the worse part.. the multiplayer aspect are just as bad. Maximum players is 8 vs 8 on console and they took out the 8 co-op online multiplayer mission. The character are so stiff in the multiplayer gameplay video i saw, not like Kz3. I think i'm ma go with Battlefield3 when i'm done with KZ3. I'll will eventually pick it up for the campaign, but the multiplayer look very bad so far.

@xoxoEmuhxoxo Dude this is like the worst quality video of this gameplay on youtube and its at 360p, 480 max, and the fact that it looks brown and sandy doesn't mean the graphics are bad. The textures, lighting and animation are the same as the first. I would say thaat both gameplays are showing amazing graphics. The only things that need adjustment are the aliasing issues and the intesification of the textures.
