This song came out when my husband was serving in Iraq. I was pregnant with out second child, our first son. This song was hard to listen to and I cried everytime I heard it and still get choked up to this day. A big THANK YOU to all the American soldiers out there!!!! I am a US soldier in the national guard. I have served 2 tours, and for what? Most people just complain about the usa, and our soldiers. whats the point of us serving? We get no thanks, no applause, and all we get is scew usa, they are the dumbest. So why in the hell us military men should sacrafice our life for the rest of the people who disagree with the war and soldiers. If you want peace, get ready for war. Because there is always a bully in every school, and not everyone stands up to him.

Freedom is not FREE, as an old Soldier, shot twice in Vietnam '68.
IF you want your kids to live in Peace the job you do MUST be done.
We got NO thanks but we went and did our job and came home to hatred and disgust like you.
From an old Soldier all I can say is THANK YOU....DO not expect more from anyone son, it is just not coming with the President we have and the people in charge of our country.

Well, at least people, in USA appreciate the soldiers, right? Here in Dk, where I live, they have put up monument, in mermory of those who refuse to join the army, and they actually did it as an direct insult, towards the fallen, danish soldiers. But wherever you go, here in Dk, you will not find any monument, in memory of the soldiers who died and that pisses me off. Personaly, I am gratefull, to the soldiers who are fighting for freedom. Regardless of where they are from. May God be with them
