  • I lost it at the Lion King's speech about irony.

  • did you use action replay for wii to do this?

  • @4XChaosX4 No such thing. "Gecko OS" with the Homebrew channel is your friend.

  • A true King must one Day face himself.

  • 8:21 Time paradox. XD

  • I love so much this game. Too bad that there weren't test maps after the end of the game like in path of radiance. Having worked hard to get 10 of my characters to max stats without the possibility to do anything after the storyline just is too bad.

  • Are you talking about the Trial Maps? Those aren't really for testing--they're too driven for gameplay for that. Test maps serve to explore and debug many features at once.

  • I know, I was just talking about the game in general, not about the debug maps. I just think it's too bad that there aren't trial maps in RD. ;)

  • nice. were those sparkling tiles used for anything?

  • Most likely for the level that has a bunch of gold. Just a shimmering texture to apply over them.

  • VincentASM said that those tiles are on the Japanese Version stating where the Master Crowns could be obtained...

  • Cool.

  • ...

    *blink*

    Okay, wtf?

  • Nice commentary xD

Does this mean that we might see FE10 modifications in the future?

  • You already can. It's not as if it's impossible.

  • @Celice: I was actually referring to things such as custom textures, maps, and text editing. Although some of it is probably a stretch, look at where people have gotten with Brawl and that's what I had in mind.

  • And you can do all of that right now.

    ._.

  • Really? I guess I need to read more about where people have gone with FE10. I haven't seen any of that on Youtube, so I assumed it hadn't been explored yet.

  • wat? :o

    I wanna see...

  • Just extract whatever graphics you want to modify and do so, and same for the rest of the data. Grab a program that'll break down the ISO into its archive format (folders and files), and then see if you can make sense of it.

Because developers don't really need to deal with as strict hardware restrictions as consoles before, over-the-top compression is unnecessary (fuck you Kirby's Adventure--ten different compressions), locating and editing data isn't as "hard." It's mostly raw data.
