listen for the wilhelm scream at about 1:50 when a rebel trooper gets shot, screams (the wilhelm) and falls over. once you hear the wilhelm, you will know from then on where it occurs in movies.
wow how bad is the aim of the rebels, shouldn't they focus it in one spot? and they are a class 3 civilazation, the laser go slower than regular bullet, not that a hate star wars a like it a lot and i have live 6 of their games just saying...
The Imperial March isn't Darth Vader's theme. It's the theme for the entire Empire. Therefore, it wouldn't work here. Besides, the musical change would be too glaring.
actually the two are interchangable. the imperial march also called darth vaders theme didn't come around till the empire strikes back. The first occurence of it in the prequels was at the very end of the credits in episode 1, you hear it briefly, followed by the faint sound of darth vaders breathing. in episode 2 you hear it as the new republic army takes off in their ships. the next occurence is in episode 3 when anakin does indeed turn to the dark side.
I understand what you're saying, but the Imperial March wasn't associated with A New Hope and doesn't belong there for that reason. Besides, when Vader walks in, there needs to be silence so we can hear that trademark breathing sound. Putting the Imperial March over it is a stupid idea if there ever was one.
I'm in agreement. I guess I was unclear with my post. The "da da dum" musical stab whenever vader entered in star wars I think was more than sufficient in announcing vaders presence in star wars "episode 4". It just gave him MORE presence in successive Star Wars movies.
oh trust me that wasnt the homophobic version. I mean I get a neg for asking a legitimate question..
Im sorry but torrent is shady..and in my life shadyness has no room especially when dealing wish something that could easily have a cease and dissist.
Finally, no more horrendous blue spill on the Star Destroyer engines! While a lot of optical effects shots looked better on the 2004 release, I think the Star Destroyer engines looked worse...the blue spill was accentuated by the retiming.
This fight wasn't fair. Battle hardened Storm Troopers against Navy guys repeling boarders. No contest. Navy guys stick to teh Big Guns.
