@ceki197 Actually they had already departed a lot from their Doom Metal roots by this album, it still retains a lot of the feel and atmosphere found on Doom Metal music but the music since Eternity began to take a more Psychedelic/Alternative twist more Rock oriented than Metal until they reach the point they are now in, a more airy, free experimental and progressive rock sound a lot more in the vein of today's so called Indie...

It's alternative rock, with ambient/atmospheric influence,but the sound of the past is still felt(they played death doom metal until about 1998)...

However Anathema still remain a great band!
