exsactly plus the pads absorb most of the hit in football anyway compared to rugby and rugby is 80 mins of constant hits not just from tackles but scrums rucks mauls etc were as football u probably take 6-15 hits a game and there is no reason for football hits to be any harder men hitting men at full pelt ... if anything the pads restrict and slow you down

@reecelevesque umm i play rugby n we get hurt a lot more than football. a person is paralized cuz we hit them so hard. we dont stop either when we get tackled football players do. peoples ears get ripped off legs arms everything broken if u get hit really hard. during one of my games my shoulder was dislocated.

You can't say that the hit at 35 seconds where two big men are falling to the fall and the new zelands player's head hits the floor ( which is pretty common).
