  • my father too was stationed there in the early 80's and got sick with cancer in 99 and died Jan 2000, Our family does not have any history in our family but longivity does, i knew this wasnt right- i wouldnt know where to start to make those responsible for this, see justice.

  • Wow! I served there from 1980 to 82 as a grunt and we use to drink from the scuttlebutt in the Squadbay all the time and fill our canteens and water buffalos with this shit. So many of my old buddies are coming down with cancers. No wonder I'm so sick today.

  • My husband was at Camp Lejeune in the early 80's. He was diagnosed in 2001 with Leukemia. He was asked several times by his oncologist if he was ever exposed to "Benzene." He said no. 7 years later in 2008, he received the letter from the IRS. My husband was devasted by this, his Marine corp did this to him.

His oncologist was extremly angry when he read that study. His oncologist recommended he see a lawyer.

My dear husband died 3 weeks ago.

How long must we wait for the truth.

  • @rosie21114 I'm very sorry to hear about your husband, I nearly died in 1986-1987 do to this exposer I've been 100% disabled since then and continue to suffer..I believe I was very fortunate to have the best doctors in the business..I wonder how many marines have not survived the camp lejuene toxic soup, and does anyone have information on how many have died or is the marine corp covering this up also . This could be the key point, not the sick marines, but the dead ones !!

  • @rosie21114 I was also there in 1980 to 1982. Was yopur husband in the 6th Marines? All my buddies fromback then are coming down with cancers. I'malso very ill.

and he was in the marine corp and he experienced some of the problems and it can pass through relatives to and i had a heart murmor when i was baby and had a heart moniter in 8th grade....

    wow

  • @zackam1306 my dad got a survey in the mail from the department of the navy. he was stationed there in the 70s. now he has symptoms that resemble a stroke, but the doctors ruled out a stroke. my little sister was diagnosed with MS at age 16. are you as pissed as I am? I'm raging, and am considering hunting down the brass that covered it up all these years. the only suitable penalty for them, I think, is a firing squad.

  • @1978atcarroll i agree man i am furious this is ridiculous just because it happened years ago doesnt mean nothing should be put aside or ignored this sucks!

  • I was stunned when I found out about the "Contaminated Water at Camp LeJeune". To be a United States Marine, is to be the best. I went to my local regional office and VAMC to find out if I had any illnesses/diseases related to the contamination, I was denied, a claim. I am disabled and positive that some of my illnesses came from my time there and I was pregnant at the time, I almost miscarried, my captain had a fit when the doctor put me on ligh duty. I was honorably discharged.

  • So the estemed general shown on the video is not a scientist but a war fighter?

Well get a scientist in charge and fire his ignorant ass. Drinking toxic water can not be considered a health supplement.

Had the toxic water been served to the esteemed general when he was a field grade or company grade officer, he and his family would not have made it to enjoy his newly found general grade officer ignorance.
