  • Love this. Always love marillion, Does anyone know in which session this was done? It's amazing!

  • classic track..!

  • I don't even know whether I've commented on this before, but even if I have, I can't help my self, this is perfect.

  • A great version of a great song by one of the best bands EVER .

I was fortunate to see & meet them in Amsterdam in 2007 (Snow where else tour)

    Amazing stuff

Please everyone, do yourselves a favor & catch these guys live - truly unforgettable !

  • great...

  • ooh maan what a brilliant version!

Ian is not just a brilliant rock-drummer

    hes pretty much allround...!!!

not that this is a difficult thing he plays! But bloody brilliant!!!

  • What a voicee!

  • Heard fish sing lately????

No thnx MR H is the right man for he job

  • I agree, bought the anniversary DVD of Misplaced Childhood :( it was painful to watch, I'm afraid to say...

Vigil in a Wilderness of Mirrors was Fish's finest moment post-Marillion (in my opinion)

  • I agree. And I don't understand why Marillion fans still go around saying "BUT FISH!!"...I actually prefer Hogarth. For the sound this band is going for H IS the right man for the job.

  • Hogarth is a God.

  • couldnt agree more. <3

  • Dear mengenstrom,

Fish left Marillion because he was done with them and he doesn't want to come back. Steve Hogarth has been frontman for the band for nearly 20 years now and if you actually have been collecting their albums maybe you'd realize "H" is just as talented a singer and songwriter as Fish, albeit a very different one.

  • Yes, and it's that difference that I dunnot like. They were outstanding, and now they are "normal".

  • "Normal" is a relative term...that doesn't really mean anything. To me they are still outstanding. My only criticism with their older material is sometimes it sounded a little too derivative of other neo-prog bands.

  • What are you all on about, especially ravagebang! Marillion ceased being a prog band the day misplaced childhood was released. Dont get me wrong, im a massive marillion fan, love Fish marillion (saw them at bathgate university back in 82) and hogarth marillion is good too, (that version of the space was poor tho) but Marillion dropped the prog label YEARS ago when Fish was with them. Fish would certainly NOT make them a prog band again. Bands like Pendragon and IQ have stuck to their prog roots.

  • Have you ever listened to the songs "This strange engine", "Interior Lulu" or "Ocean cloud", marko? Don't tell me that's no prog.

  • If there is another singer that is more passionate about what he does and what he writes then please do tell me

  • ian mosely's a drumming god tho.

  • one of the few marillion songs with steve i enjoy...killed!...sorry!

  • I love this song :) This version is beautiful as well

  • I prefer song´s style like "Jisaw", as an example of Marillion band I always keep in my mind.

  • I Agree with Fdelphinus. Fish is progressive, Hoggart is not progressive. Neither Fish nor Hoggart are Marillion, but I believe that only Fish can step back Marillion to genuine progressive rock band again...! the true essence of their music.

  • have you ever listened to This Town-The Rake Progress-100 Nights? What about This Strange Engine, Interior Lulu or The Invisible Man? These are truly progressive concepts and some of the best songs Marillion ever composed.

  • By the way... this video is a great version of another masterpiece of the H era

  • Fish elitists can't give better comments than "Fish was progressive - H is not progressive" AHahha... so hilarious... do you think people care about the music genre? You never listened to music, if you only care about the genre.

  • that is simply not true.

  • If you think this is jazz, you are a complete ignorant in music...Marillion has always been a band that was not afraid to take a step further

into the very essence of their music.

Perhaps among the most brilliant yet underated groups of modern rock history.

  • INCRÍVEL PERFEIÇÃO...

  • Hogart turned Marillion into a Jazz Band. I hope Fish come back and rescue a Progressive Rock Band Marillion was.

  • Lol... It's acoustic concert, so they arranged this song like jazz song :P And it's HogartH.

  • theyre both great

  • sorry... Jazz band?? what is the band you're talking about?? can't be marillion.

  • @ravagebang don't forget there are always 5 people that an cast a vote in whatever it is that they do, a man like "H" can not turn a band on his own, democracy is, even in Marillion, a greater good

  • steve H make me sick!! he has completely taken over this band, an they sound like they can`t agree how to sound anymore! Marillion was without a doubt my nr1 band, up until "brave", after that they can`t seem to find the magic anymore! sorry but they lost my vote!!

  • I absolutely do not agree. h's influence is the best thing that could happen to this band.

  • i absolutely agree with marcuse68, H colouring this band with his beautiful side, makes the songs very2 great, no rescue is needed to this band, still this band is a prog rock band in different way and that's the best thing happened to this band

  • great.......

  • Marilliooooooonnnnn!

  • BELLISSIMO!!!

  • Is this whole concert available on DVD?

This interpretation is so catching that i have to wipe tears out of my eyes.

I must get my hands on this concert.

  • OMG I cry too when I hear Hogarth sing! I don't know how he does it, but he soooo unbelievably good!

  • IT IS MAN..I HAVE IT..WANT TO TRADE??

  • How can you get any better than Marillion?

No progressive band is THAT tasteful.

Dream Theater gets worse with every CD....

  • Very nice.. I love Marillion

Nice version of The space :)

  • " H " IS GREAT !

  • Demasiado arrecho!!!

  • aRRECHISIMO MI PANA !!Marillion es lo maximo no???

  • Please, when writing a commentary, Try to write in a correct english!
