Domination, valor vs s.v.e.r (I'm on valor) defending the letters with a shot gun I started to defend them with 6 r 7 kills and ended the game with around 53 r 54 kills

Lone wolfing only truely works on larger game modes, such as Domination, because it simply gives you larger flanking routes if you squad breaks through first and then you can take out the AAA for other platoons/squads.

get in, get some kills, maybe pick someone up on the way, go down and hope someone is going to push at least as far as you to pick you up on the way. ive found that i may only destroy the bunker alone 1 life in 10, but then its down. 10 lives later i've got the AAA. (obviously not in this type of match) And - ive had plenty of matches where that special 1 in 10 happens first time. :)

When you secured B your squad should have kept that group together slowly push right side clear it out and make sure nade the far right opening where they spawn... When its clear the squad should take the big stairs up to top level and hold it down. (better to shoot down then up am i correct?)

nice death in the end lmfaooo.. well ive had plenty of lone wolf wins, "wins" of course being subjective because i started on valor and vet'd to raven. and while on valor i was forced to lone wolf all the time because the randoms were so horrible. once i remember on valor acquisition we were pushed into our little fortress back there, and i sneaky snaked around to the gate that the vehicle needed to exit, and right as it was by the gate i closed it, and precision struck it for the win :D

If I can't get a party together, I often just play suppression to grind for xp and c-cash. Right now it's right after christmas, so most games are full of PSN Plus user who are all level 8 or below, and most of them don't even have the medkit, and they don't know that you really need a headset to get the best out of this game.

Most of the time, I sort of lone wolf. I actually pull away from my squad and go hang with the blue dots if my squad isn't so competent.

Frequently, when I become squad leader, I try to take out many of the major objectives that allow me to use my tactical assets to assist the company. But when I frago it, nobody listens and always goes for random bunkers and APCs. When this happens, I don't even bother anymore. Then comes the less competent canidates, trying to vote kick me to become SL.

Playing MAG really takes 4 key things: Fearless leaders, cooperating teamates, mics, and (to a lesser extent) a little intelligence. The best thing that I can do for my team is play as a fearless leader. I can cooperate with my team but when nobody else does, my effort's negated. I feel I deserve leadership more than other players since I get involved with my platoons while others don't buy mics. Usually, I will direct my team to areas but when they can't, I lone wolf it (Sensor Jammer +3 FTW)

M4A1 is inferior to the SCAR-L because the SCAR-L has a higher RPM and reload speed. However, it is ceratinly useable and I will not keep the SCAR-L if I can put in a M4 to add in some useful equipment.

I'm pretty sure MAG's gameplay being so dependent on teamwork is why it isn't so popular. Definitely killing it for me.

You play with a bunch of clanmates = steamrolling/redlining. Both boring(for most people).

You run solo, you have to deal with a bunch of retarded, useless teammates that generally make you rage.

It's a fail/fail situation. Really, the only solution would be to separate clans(over a certain size) and randoms. But I'm pretty sure we all know that will never, ever happen.

But I'll never stop saying this. There's no reason why randoms can't use mics and teamwork.

@slapdaddy1234 I find battlefield too slow and monotonous. Glad you found a game you like though. To me, BFBC2's maps have far too few people on them for how big they are. The PC version makes this up a little bit allowing for 16v16 as opposed to the console's 12v12.

Pt.2, using them as decoys is good but it's not the best way to play. Sorry if you guys hate people like me (and I don't blame you guys) but that's one of the ways for a sneaky lone wolf to have success in MAG in my opinion. But for that, I won't let them die in vain. I avenge them by a, taking the objective or b, killing whoever killed my teammate(s).

My best ones are the ones where they are in a heated battle and I sneak right past the enemies to take their objective(s) i.e., destroyed AAA.

Sneaky lone wolf but it doesn't always work out because in this game you need at least one person with you the whole time to cover you. I don't have that much success stories of only myself but with other people covering me. What does that say? Teamwork is essential to some degree. In this game, the better players know when another player is lone wolfing it and they just leave you alone to do your own business.

The best examples I can provide is just sneaking and using my teammates as decoys.

I prefer to play in a group that knows what to do to win even if they don't have mics although for the most part on defence you can hold out without teamwork unless the attackers are working together well and bye the point that you realize that you've lost most of your frontline anyway.

I've been taking a break over the last few weeks from MAG but I'm going to try and start playing again. I'm in S!K and we stress teamwork first and foremost. Mic/Med kit are required and that's why I stick with them. We always try to work as a team to the point where if there are only three or four of us in the squad and one of us is not the SL, we will ask them if they have instructions for us. We don't always win but that strategy works more often than not.

I played this in the first Beta, and at first I tried to be a team player. The teamwork just wasn't there that early in the game, so I just ended up moving up to the objectives and getting mowed down. Then I started playing lone wolf sniper support, sniping enemies as they approach objectives. It never got me much XP, because I was always so far away from the squad marked objectives.

Playing with my clan we always use teamwork even when I'm sniping I'll try and set up where I can cover them. If nobody's on however I go lone wolf on Dom, sneak behind the enemies front line and destroy everything that they have.

Love to play as part of a solid team (and watch good teamplay). One thing that MAG actually does offer over other FPS. As for the effectiveness of lone wolfing I think theQube (youtube id myMAGsite) has posted a video (called Ravens Attacking Raven Sabotage) where he captures all three objectives so obviously it can work............with luck!

BTW i just came back on MAG after all the dam school works and midterm test. I just got a good advice for those who are playing alone with out their clan and is a squad leader. Make sure to always communicate with your team and set markers of where the route is or the enemy location. get your squad involve in team plays, win or lose you see how fun this game could really be.

@teeznutz0 Not so much against good players. The thing with MAG is that a lot of older guys are into it because of the scale/team aspect. The younger kids who are more likely to be better at shooters in general stay away from MAG because they can't rambo it and get their precious killstreaks

Nice push on objective B. Strength in numbers does work in this game.

Couldn't help but notice you preferred to always attack down that right hand side. With a co ordinated squad I always think that its best to attack the other side.

As for my game play, I prefer playing as apart of a tight knit unit with my clan when attacking. Defending I sometimes tend to be a bit more lone wolfish. But if an order is given, I will follow it. Keep posting the great vids!

i prefer to play with A Team. were we can coordinate attcks strategy and things like that . i have yet to meet a clan who plays like that. and im still looking. as far being a lone wolf. the only thing i have been able to do is push the line back and take a the object. example dom, not bieng able to push past the bunker. i would rambo in and kill my way thought to get the bunker killing about 4 or more plating charge and watching it blow up. to break the line of defense. while the rest dnt push

The exact same thing happened to me on this map attacking Valor, GUN was defending it hard, and we did the exact same thing to get to C (Storming right on B), it was awesome. We went from getting redlined to getting to C in the span of two minutes, and then they pushed up to our paradrop spawn and shooting us down, but somehow we managed to land and again we made out push towards C. Unfortunately the timer ran out but we were definitely pushing GUN back, gave them much deserved props postgame.
