Yeah, but there's a point where every comedian has to change their act too. Using the same act for a couple of tours makes sense, but you can't be Dane Cook and do the same 5 jokes for 15 years.

Well coz comedians dont expect their videos to be up on youtube neither do they expect to have the same audience over and over, hence they can use the same jokes n always get a laugh. Iv used similar jokes in different countries and to different people and theyv laughed evrytime like its new to them.. LOL.. :D

Very good point. Most of the time the viewers watching it on You Tube, are the type of people who generally won't go to the performance, and the people going to the performance generally won't be spending there time on You Tube watching the performance, therefore more and different people are being exposed to the joke constantly. Often the joke still gets a laugh even if a person does realize it's an old one though. His delivery is always good though. That Mattress store joke had me rolling!

That is why people like Eddie Murphy and Dylan Moran, who never recycle their material, and who always improvise on the basis of what the audience says, seem to many to be miles ahead of most other comedians; because they're not just performers but authentically funny people.
