essa é a verdade capoeira, não é só saber dá mortal ou saber dá martelo, é a junção da arte e da luta. Penso que a capoeira como essa, bem jogada, seja a melhor luta na hora da briga, eu digo briga nao mma. Já vi em uma briga um cara faixa preta de jiu jitsu formado pela academia gracie toma armada voadora na cabeça de um capoeirista (bom capoeirista) e é essa a magia da capoeira, em briga é tudo muito rapido então um golpe de capoeira sendo uma benção ou uma armada pode finaliza na hora.

Capoeira is purely Brazilian. Capoeira is a word from Tupi language (native brazilian indians), which means vegetation that grows after putting a forest down. It was never born in Africa. It was created here in Brazil by african slaves. Try travelling to Angola and asking if they know Capoeira.

We have 2 styles, Capoeira Angola and Regional.

Capoeira was not brought, it was born in Brazil.
