I have to disagree, though I understand his viewpoint. I think twitter is good for communicating to those who otherwise may not be interested in politics and helps bypass the media and speak directly to the electorate. Though I have a slight distrust for politicians, my distrust for the media is greater. 'Politicians were elected to speak for the public, the media wasn't.'
Go back in history? after your recent trips to America, India and Pakistan I think you should stay well away from that subject "call me Dave" your mouth is well full of feet.
Typical elitist leftist nonsense - yeah, because if ONLY people were as clued up as you, they would've voted Labour? Idiot.
People like you, who blinded yourself to the utter mess the country was in socially, politically and economically on the basis that Cameron comes from a wealthy background. The country would be in far greater trouble if there hadn't been a radical change of direction, and also government. FACT.
You seem to know so much about me. Shame it's wrong. I'm right wing, well aware of the problems facing the country. I just don't like Cameron because he is simply a more presentable version of Boris Johnson. He offended a good many people with his twat comment, and even more with his "Junior partner to America in 1940" comments, so that was more context, but most people don't think that way. Opinions are like arseholes though, take it or leave it, don't get so worked up. Prick.
Anyone who was offended by his 'twat' comment isn't worth speaking to or about. They're either excessively Conservative countryside alliance members or so insecure they shouldn't be allowed to leave the house.
His exact comment about being a junior partner was in reference to the 1940s, not 1940. And again, if you're offended by that you're a fucking idiot.
And I was thinking that you might be a little more intelligent than your ranting. Guess I was wrong. If you can't make a point without swearing, then you should probably not attempt to make a point. You seem to be getting really worked up about all this, can I suggest you should perhaps take a vacation before you burst a blood vessel.
There are plenty of online pharmacies, maybe you should get some ritalin.
cook119 you are a clueless fool. Go ahead though and keep believing in that academic something-for-nothing nonsense you have been fed. As for thinking GB saved the British economy... LOL. You are either an academic, a journalist, a public sector worker, or just young. Either way, you are brainwashed and a loser.
The single biggest reason the UK is in the financial position it is in today is Gordon Brown. If you do not agree with that, all of the above applies.
@checktofolder Ok Ok back up there pal treating acadima with contempt was you're fist mistake. These guys know the truth they are a lot closer to it than you, they deal in facts so if they say GB saved the economy they are probably mother fucking correct. You see neither of us can escape the facts and if you think I'm ignorant for beliveing in what I know to be true then I guess there's nothing I can do about that but its a bigger reflection on you than it is on me.
@cook119 By the way I'm flattered that you think I'm either a journalist or an academic or young (got that one right).
Don't you think a public sector worker would know more about the economy and what went on, than you? These groups of people disagree with you for the reason they actually know what they are talking about.
@checktofolder The myth of Gordon Brown's sound economic management unravels yet further every day. He inherited a great economy, took all the credit for its continuing growth and did absolutely nothing to prepare for a rainy day because he genuinely believed he could do away with boom and bust for good. B & B is an escapable symptom of capitalist economics - but you can minimise the negativity by properly preparing for it. Brown didn't, and the country's finances are in a mess because of it.
@quinnolivia Being posh doesn't mean he can't be a great politican or PM no. The fact he is an smarmy patronising, right wing dickhead is going to make is difficult though.
@cook119 Well thats your opinion because I think he's great but who do you support If your not a tory Labour who fucked the country time and time again or Lib Dem
@quinnolivia Indeed it is my opinion and as so often happens my opinion happens to coincide with the facts. I'm not a great fan of labour either though it was under major when we had the Financial crisis before last. And if you think the countries in a mess now wait and see how bad it will be after this imbecile has been in charge for a few years.
You're an arrogant idiot and you don't know what you're talking about.
Things will get bad for the UK, admittedly, but that's the price we're all going to have to pay for Labour's social and economic mismanagement over the past 13 years. Things would be even worse if Labour had held onto power.
@Pepotamo1985 I am arrogant when faced with people like you yep. The labour party made a major economic miscalculation. But all the economic prosperity leading up to that was down to them and when the economy was in trouble they stopped a disaster turning into a catastrophy. I hate new labour they are wankers but these are the facts, both new labour and thatcherites have the same economic outlook and would have caused the same problems.
I know more about pretty much anything than you could ever hope to. And I'm afraid you're hopelessly wrong in that assessment - they inherited a positively booming economy, took all the credit for its continuing growth when, in reality, pretty much whatever they had done would've led to continued economic growth, and made absolutely no concession for when it all went bust - because, as I said previously, Brown legitimately believed he'd eradicated boom and bust. IDIOT.
@Pepotamo1985 No I've been reading you're comments mate you don't have much of an idea. I'm not even going to bother just everything you just said is bullshit pretty much. Brown was an idiot, his free market policies brought the boom and the bust. The tories are doing what he and Blair did times 3, ideological insanity of people who think they know what they are doing.
Sigh. Learn some history, and learn how to read as well. I never intimated that Brown created the boom (which he certainly didn't) nor the bust (which he didn't). His failure was to anticipate the bust and make any preparation for it. Statistically (and that means numerically factual you dense prick), we were one of the worst positioned countries to deal with the recession, and this has been borne out in our failure to sort it. Cuts are the way forward.
@Pepotamo1985 So you're saying brown certainly didn't initiate the boom. That is it conversation over, you litterally have no idae what you are talking about. I go to a place called university to learn facts that's why I know I'm not the prick in the is conversation.
You're clearly one of those morons who scraped into a shit Uni through clearing and is doing a shit degree yet somehow think that enlightens you in any way.
Funnily enough, I just left uni - with a first in PPE! Do you even know what that acronym stands for? By Labour's own admission, they inherited a better economic situation than ANY incoming government since WW 1. Britain had come out the 1992 recession and was thoroughly booming by 1997.
@Pepotamo1985 I am clearly one of those people? Moron is a word 13 year old american children use and yes my spelling is poor but if you'd paid attention in philosophy you'd now that attacking someone doesn't discredit their views nor enhance yours. Yea i scraped into uni with my three As and a B but I'm managing at Edinburgh with my politics philosophy okay thanks. Any way you don't need a university education to know whos right and who's wrong you just need to put ideology aside.
@cook119 Look at the state of your spelling, your poor communication skills, your total lack of knowledge, your shouty, opinionated ignorance - you clearly go to a shit Uni (don't lie about your grades either, you loser). And that's news to me about the word moron, considering it's derived from Greek, YOU FUCKING CLOWN. As evidenced by the torrents of abuse all over your 'channel' it's evident you have a habit of posting erroneous, ill-informed nonsense all over Youtube. Calm down and shut up.
@Pepotamo1985 My spelling is bad because of a disability that disability doesn't affect my reasoning indeed I have better things to do then. I also have better things to do thn make up grads and university places. Oh because if something's derived from an ancient language its not gay. You're a doughnut.
I like how you've still failed to answer my question, and name me some things that Gordon Brown actively did to stimulate growth in the UK economy, and furthermore were successful. You haven't answered because you don't know anything. I saw you on another thread claiming people 'chose' sub-prime mortgages. You're an idiot - and you're so childish you couldn't articulate your dislike of the word moron better than using the word 'gay' pejoratively. TWAT.
@Pepotamo1985 Oh really you'd be more clued up than me its funny how you don't have facts to base any of your assertions on. You're not interested in the facts you just have an opinion to promote. There's no pint with people like you.
Funny that YOU haven't listed one fact nor opinion rooted in fact, I've listed PLENTY. Read again - if you're reading is even twice as good as you're spelling it'll be a chore, but seriously - just scroll down the page and give it a few goes. MORON.
Following on from this inheritance, all Brown had to do was sit back and enjoy the restabilising of the world economy and reap the benefits. Seeing are you go to 'a place called university' (where you probably do Theatre Studies), enlighten me - list three things Brown did which actively encouraged growth in the UK economy. Let's see whether you have an 'idae' what you're talking about.
@cook119 A brief, bullshit, sub-textbook answer. You've outlined nothing. What Tory era are you referring to (your vagueness almost certainly stemming from you not knowing the names of ANY Tory chancellors)? The Conservatives, until Black Wednesday, were widely regarded as very fiscally competent - it was Labour's uselessnes in regard to economics that kept them out of office for so much of the 20th century - a trend that will continue into the 21st.
@Pepotamo1985 Well there's labour then new labour. New labour are essentially conservatives with some left wing social values. They brought in the boom post credit crunch under new labour we became the fourth largest economy in the world. You're right black monday showed the world how much we could trust neo-con economics and 2008 we found out again. But try telling that to conservatives at least brown eventually turned his back on the markets.
The greatest PMs in history have been Conservatives, and often come from privileged backgrounds. The Conservatives now, as they have had to do after EVERY Labour administration has fallen from office, are charged with sorting out the country.
@Pepotamo1985 If the tories were in charge during the banking crisis the britain you no and love would not exist right now the economy would have litterally collapsed. The tories have caused more suffering and discontent than any other force in British political history there have been some good ones but all the best stuff came about when Britain had decided not to conserve, but to make things better.
As a Black man, I want Harriet to become the new leader of the British. She is desperate to legalise discrimination against white males in the work-place. positive discrimination is ]good thing for redressing the balance in UK. us Blacks should vote for labour, and then eventually the White woman and man will be less powerful economically.
The tory party just got more votes and a higher share of the vote than blair got in 2005 but only because you are scum. my benefits will go.
@checktofolder you're an idiot too. If it wasn't for gordon Brown the economy probably would have completely collapsed irrecoverably so. If the Tories had been in at the time of the crash it would have been beyond disaster as they wouldn't have propped up the banks.
Yet again, the dying Murdoch empire is doing all it can to influence a British election...But today, the Murdoch family reached a new low in their desperate attempt to turn the election for the Tories. News International's Sky News broadcast a private conversation between Gordon and his staff...What Murdoch's Sky News did today was just as bad as his paper's phone-hacking. It was a breach of privacy. It was underhand. And it was done in the pursuit of ratings and political influence.
The real reason Cameron isn't on Twitter is because he has NOTHING to say nor does he have original thoughts of his own. Cameron cannot function without a script written for him.
Whats the betting most of you dickheads slagging off Cameron are privileged, middle class university cunts who have never wanted for anything in your entire lives? I cant stand posh, privileged spotty faced students who have happily gobbled up every advantage given to them slagging of Cameron in a pathetic attempt to be working class. If you really want to be working class give up your la-dee-fucking-da degree and go work in a factory. Until then, YOU ARE AS MUCH AS A TOFF AS CAMERON!
@twattytwattwat Well said. I am sick of these coffee shop revolutionaries going around promoting Marxism and other stupid ideology and these same cunts have two houses and drive big Lexus. If these cunts ever did a proper days work then they wouldn't be talking about Marxism like its some great idea.
@twattytwattwat i agree, but just for the record im in uni and im from a very much working class background, not that it makes much of a difference in the fact that i think cameron is a complete tool
@twattytwattwat You don't have to be working class to hate cameron. You do have to be an ignorant little cunt to like him though. Or to eat the bullshit he hands out.
@twattytwattwat you sound like a typical Communist, scapegoating the bourgeoisie (Capitalists). Stalin MURDERED millions of people with degrees, is that how far you would go if you had your way? I proudly hold a BSc in microbiology and can say with certainty that my little finger is of more worth to society than you ever will be, it's not our fault you chose to slack off in school. Keep blaming the successful for your failures.
Break time's over, back to the factory shop floor with you, twat.
@kensei85 You're a cunt of the highest order. That wasn't his point. Universities have always churned out cretins under the misapprehension that their degree elevates them to the upper echelon of society. It's even worse now that they let in seemingly anyone, even the mentally subnormal.
I'm willing to bet that your twatty elitism also extends to attacks on people like Cameron for their privileged upbringing, and if so you've just demonstrated EXACTLY what he was saying in the first place.
Nothing annoys me more than self righteous lefty students opining loudly about politics - they have absolutely NO idea what they're talking about, and have no time for any facts or opinions that do not cohere with theirs (despite waxing lyrically about the importance of free speech and their own open mindedness). Middle class lefties who complain that Cameron doesn't understand normal people are just as bad - I don't know what makes them think they are any different.
@twattytwattwat Why would anyone 'want' to be working class? In other words, why would anyone want to be poor, ignorant and puerile? Your comment couldn't make any less sense.
@twattytwattwat Wow, what true Englishman could possibly have a problem with the middle class? You might have some bizarre generational angst induced problem with the very tiny upper class, but the middle class is Britain's greatest asset. We have the oldest and most wonderful middle class in the world which kickstarted the world's first industrial revolution and allowed people to work in factories, you ungrateful prick.
Both - I come from a working class background, but I studied very hard and am now an Electrical Engineer. I understand that Socialist arguments but one side compliments the other. Without the middle-classes (wealth creators) there would be no industry, so I have to agree with 'willukus' on this one....
@harperonline I don't think Labour supporters or the left in general hate the middle class, they hate the Tories, I used to have an extremely anti-Tory well off, privately educated Liberal supporting girlfriend.
@twattytwattwat You're actually fucking retarded. Getting a degree doesn't make you middle class... have you heard of loans before? Here I'll explain - based on your household income, you are financed for your degree with 0% interest. If your income is less than £30k then you get more than enough (including bursaries) to live off comfortably.
Try not to generalise, it makes you look like a moron. And I had to laugh at the 10 thumbs up you've received from equally retarded muppets.
@twattytwattwat You don't have to be middle class to have a degree, you just have to work harder for it. Excuse me for not wanting to stay on a shitty council estate all my life with my lifes ambition to be fastest box packer at the local factory, explain what there is to be proud of in that? The fact you failed to make the most of yourself based on some stupid idea that being educated makes you a toff?
I come from a scrat end estate in Manchester and i have an M.A in History.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I must admit that I am delight that the British media is make big thing from this incident when they not mention the £41m per day from England to EU. it is so funny.
i think when british white people are minority in britain and we africans make all decisions you have more to worry about than few swearing words. just sixty years ago there were no non-white in britain and now we make up part of the population.
you are a complete and utter loser. think you've 'had a dream' that will never be reality. we will win? what exactly will you win? employee of the month at mcdonalds? can't believe i'm actually dignifying ur brainless comment with a response, but there ya go
Fantastic, just as he's stoped saying that politicians have to think about what they say he gets brain fade and sais that, very funny. Might make some grannies angry but will prob get him some votes...
Don't particularly like Cameron but this is hilarious.

The Conservatives, until Black Wednesday, were widely regarded as very fiscally competent - it was Labour's uselessnes in regard to economics that kept them out of office for so much of the 20th century - a trend that will continue into the 21st.
Pepotamo1985 1 year ago
@Pepotamo1985 Well there's labour then new labour. New labour are essentially conservatives with some left wing social values. They brought in the boom post credit crunch under new labour we became the fourth largest economy in the world. You're right black monday showed the world how much we could trust neo-con economics and 2008 we found out again. But try telling that to conservatives at least brown eventually turned his back on the markets.
cook119 1 year ago
@cook119 For someone who seems to be a fan deregulation you are a very surprising labour supporter...
willukus 1 year ago
@cook119
The greatest PMs in history have been Conservatives, and often come from privileged backgrounds. The Conservatives now, as they have had to do after EVERY Labour administration has fallen from office, are charged with sorting out the country.
Pepotamo1985 1 year ago

The financial catastrophe that is Gordon Brown is no more. A great day.
checktofolder 1 year ago 2

Pepper6464 1 year ago
@Pepper6464 Another reason is because he couldn't go on Twitter without getting millions of insults per second thown directly at him.

If these cunts ever did a proper days work then they wouldn't be talking about Marxism like its some great idea.
joeycusack80 2 years ago
@twattytwattwat i agree, but just for the record im in uni and im from a very much working class background, not that it makes much of a difference in the fact that i think cameron is a complete tool
crossbones07 1 year ago 2
@twattytwattwat You can't actually change your class anyway.
Plus who actually hates him for being posh really? It's for being a Tory and having a go at him for being posh is just something specific to pick on.
Anyway you don't have to be rich to go to Uni - it just helps!

@twattytwattwat You don't have to be working class to hate cameron. You do have to be an ignorant little cunt to like him though. Or to eat the bullshit he hands out.
cook119 1 year ago
@twattytwattwat you sound like a typical Communist, scapegoating the bourgeoisie (Capitalists). Stalin MURDERED millions of people with degrees, is that how far you would go if you had your way? I proudly hold a BSc in microbiology and can say with certainty that my little finger is of more worth to society than you ever will be, it's not our fault you chose to slack off in school. Keep blaming the successful for your failures.
Break time's over, back to the factory shop floor with you, twat.
kensei85 1 year ago
@kensei85 You're a cunt of the highest order. That wasn't his point. Universities have always churned out cretins under the misapprehension that their degree elevates them to the upper echelon of society. It's even worse now that they let in seemingly anyone, even the mentally subnormal.
I'm willing to bet that your twatty elitism also extends to attacks on people like Cameron for their privileged upbringing, and if so you've just demonstrated EXACTLY what he was saying in the first place.
Pepotamo1985 1 year ago
@twattytwattwat
Pepotamo1985 1 year ago
@twattytwattwat Why would anyone 'want' to be working class? In other words, why would anyone want to be poor, ignorant and puerile? Your comment couldn't make any less sense.
hippotoast 1 year ago
@twattytwattwat Wow, what true Englishman could possibly have a problem with the middle class? You might have some bizarre generational angst induced problem with the very tiny upper class, but the middle class is Britain's greatest asset. We have the oldest and most wonderful middle class in the world which kickstarted the world's first industrial revolution and allowed people to work in factories, you ungrateful prick.
willukus 1 year ago
Both - I come from a working class background, but I studied very hard and am now an Electrical Engineer. I understand that Socialist arguments but one side compliments the other. Without the middle-classes (wealth creators) there would be no industry, so I have to agree with 'willukus' on this one....
harperonline 1 year ago
@harperonline I don't think Labour supporters or the left in general hate the middle class, they hate the Tories, I used to have an extremely anti-Tory well off, privately educated Liberal supporting girlfriend.
alman53 1 year ago
@twattytwattwat You're actually fucking retarded. Getting a degree doesn't make you middle class... have you heard of loans before? Here I'll explain - based on your household income, you are financed for your degree with 0% interest. If your income is less than £30k then you get more than enough (including bursaries) to live off comfortably.
Try not to generalise, it makes you look like a moron. And I had to laugh at the 10 thumbs up you've received from equally retarded muppets.
FlawlessCM 10 months ago 7
@twattytwattwat You don't have to be middle class to have a degree, you just have to work harder for it. Excuse me for not wanting to stay on a shitty council estate all my life with my lifes ambition to be fastest box packer at the local factory, explain what there is to be proud of in that? The fact you failed to make the most of yourself based on some stupid idea that being educated makes you a toff?
I come from a scrat end estate in Manchester and i have an M.A in History.
