I got too impatient with playing my player on the kings. So, I re-created my my player and made the decision, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat or Sacramento Kings. I chose the Clippers and am rocking it with CP3 and Blake!

I tried this and it kinda worked. I traded loads of legends from the classic teams to the modern Jazz team but when I go on Create a Legend, I can only choose Jordan, Pippen, Rodman or Magic Johnson who are cool but I really wanted to play as Dominique Wilkins. Anyone know what's happened!? :(

For anyone asking questions you MUST go to season game mode it does not work with association. When your in season put to customize the league then press x on any team(preferably the lakers) and search if it says like 92-93 Lakers or any other old team and then just press start to confirm after that go to save and export team after that save the export team and go to load/save and load the team after that find that team (its before free agents) and you MUST trade kobe bryant for kobe bryant

@18eel you must complete the nba greatest legends games and you will unlock them, for example go to john stockton win that game and then you have the lakers and the jazz of that year.

@CallOfGaming39 Works only with players who are still currently in the league so you could do young KG, Allen, T-mac, Carter and others. If you want ALL created players you need the DLC and complete the teammate challenge.

this is confusing.. when u load the roster "teamforkobe" and then go to rosters after, u already have a team with young kobe on it... on my PS3 i do all that u do in the tutorial but it wont allow me to trade MJ to another team. shit is confusing. why wouldn't they just let me fuckin do this after i pay $60 fuckin dollars.

@datooo23 i figured it out..

1. start new season.

2.put customize league on

3.switch the classic team u want to edit from, with any team in the league doesnt matter.

4.in the main menu of ur season go to save>export team. (name it something you will remember ie: jordan85)

5.exit the season and out to the "MAIN" main menu, not the season menu.

6.go to save/load and find the file you named ie: jordan85. load it!

7.now go to manage rosters and find the classic team u exported and edit away!!

@rohw0016 Hey, thank you very much for your help. But the problem is that the 7-th step doesn't work for me. When I find the classic team that I have previously exported and than try to exchange MJ for Rose for instance, it doesn't allow me to have an "exchange" option with MJ. When I first choose Rose to exchange, then the Classic Bulls team disappears from the list.

What can I do in this case ? I get to the 7-th step, but cannot execute the actual exchange of young MJ for any other player.

@rohw0016 What do you mean by "edit away" ? Shouldn't i try to trade MJ for someone else ? the problem is that MJ doesn't have the trade option, whereas all the other players have. :(

@datooo23 possibly reset the rosters before you start the process ..? i was having the same issue, getting very frustrated and then i went to all my saved NBA 2k12 data deleted it and started from scratch. another thing, say ur in association mode and u did get ur legend traded over to the team u want, when ur legends contract is up for that team u cant re-sign him when u go to re-sign screen it isnt MJ or whoever the legend is u traded, its some joe shmo that sucks dick.

@datooo23 what i mean by "edit away" is, you can now do whatever u want with that particular legend, like trade him assign him, edit abilities and such. keep trying it will work!! love doin my fadaways with MJ..

@rohw0016 It is because in stead of saying 97-98 lakers it just reads as the lakers, so he has three laker teams: 97-98 lakers teamafro lakers and regular lakers. Then between the two normal laker teams trade out kobes it wont allow you to trade from the history teams. hope this helps sorry if it doesn't.

It does work for playstation 3 you just have to have the "NBA Greatest" team that you want to be unlocked then you have to got to the regular team the it will let u trade btw add me on ps3 @Shizzymack12345
