  • I seriously hope that you weren't at a depth that required a deco...? If so, that was absolutely foolish.

  • we had to do that to pass rescue dive Certification

  • hehe :) looks like the game the night before was a lot of fun and the excitement even carried over into the next day....haha....btw, it's a bitch to get dressed and undressed while in all that dive gear under the water!!!!!!

  • this is why thailand has such an awesome reputation in the industry....

  • I wanted to see a girl doin that

  • loose skin...old balls grosss

  • how can I do that?

  • @f11R2 first you can learn how to dive

  • I had to remove and don my gear underwater, but I don't see why they got out of their wetsuits... that doesn't make sense.

  • @madwheelin Oh... I just read the info... they lost a bet... lol

  • i pefer to keep mine on but then the water is 50 deg f here right now.

  • Seems there was some current there, so nicely done.

  • Nice guys!!

  • Yes, lighten up!

  • done that in pool without wetsuit, easy, no danger unless you panic like an idiot...

  • Like to see them put it all on again. i agree with morleyrox, whats the point?

What a waste of a tank of air!

There is not 1 diving agency under the RTSC that states taking off wetsuits, booties and fins underwater. (for this type of exercise)

everyone to their own and no harm done i suppose.

  • um by the way some scuba people when your getting your liscens make you do that

  • Well for sure i can say that from this kind of "ideas" sum can be injured or die.. Stupid imo!

  • sgaf

  • whats the point? lol

  • Nice BC skills for the guy floating the whole time!

  • it would be hillarious if once everyone was finally done taking off their gear, a huge shark came and scared everyone hahahaha...i give you props for doing this, and for giving me such sweet ideas...cheers!

  • Well this was the last thing anyone expected to see hitting this link.

  • @HawaiiScubaTV lmao

  • fuking gay !!

  • yea i started divin with SSI there alot freeer wit there courses same thing for them

  • jajaja -

  • I remember being stripped by my divemaster;)

  • one of the PADI courses includes removing the vest in the water, i remember :D

  • Hi stopmotionmind, I am a staff instructor and the only padi course where you remove equipment is the divemaster, if yoour meaning of vest is bcd, then it is done only on the divemaster course....cheers

  • had the same thing done in the pool... removing and replacing of bcd underwater (2m or so)PADI Open Water Course... I'm a rescue diver now and do think its good to practice these kinds of things in a controlled environment with the right precautions.

  • Are you forgeting remove and replace scuba unit, part of confined dive 5 on the open water, may be you should check your manual.

  • Scuba unit remove and replace is definitely part of OW, Dive Master Course and the scuba refresher course. It is skill 18 and 19 on the Dive master slate, I must agree though it is intended to be practiced in controlled conditions and should on be performed under dire circumstances in a normal dive. Mayoandjohn check your instructors manual, cause the other 2 coments are right

  • the only scuba removal that a OWD does on there course is removal of bcd on the surface and removal of bcd in confined - and then removal of the weight belt but these are different skills...on the DM course its complete removal of equipment expect for the wetsuit or drysuit and weight belt...

  • this is certainly not PADI approved and is not in any of the PADI courses , not even for the divemaster course!

  • dddd

  • Is this part of the open water qualification training?

  • Nope i dun remember stripping for openwater but i do striping for divemaster

  • scubadiving is SOO fun!

  • Americans ???

    Says it all.....

  • wow so safe

  • that must have been one hell of a bet u lost

  • really, as a scuba instructor, please don't try this. All we need is more media hype about how "dangerous" diving is when someone watches this and tries it, only to get into a dive accident.

  • hahah ur totaly right but i wanna try it ?and may i have a talk with you because ur a scuba instructor i have some questions?

  • Sure, ask away. If anyone has questions, I'll try to answer them.

  • well im only 15 and there is an ACUC course that is willing to certifie me its 20 hours of class time 20 hours of pool time and 3 open water dives to pass i was wondering if the cost is worth it im paying 600 for course and equipment rental and iv seen soem videos and i was wondering if it is as dangeriouse as it looks i tried it in a pool and loved it

  • lol

  • Lol. How funny. That would be hard to do. I was certified for diving but I kinda suck...lol.

  • Try it without the weight belt; leave them in your BC, then try and do this...

  • i wish women could do that!

  • Cute. We should add it to the DM Skill set!

  • sexy

  • Love it! It would be better if the camera kept focused on the suit sliding off his upper body more than moving away as things started to heat up. By the way, is that guy single?

  • i love this vid....too bad the one diver had a speedo under his speedo when he slid it off :-(

  • Oh lol, was it cold? :P

  • awesome
