  • Safest Spot.....THE TANK!

  • there's just something about seeing a such a big tank obliterate such a small car that makes me feel soooo goooood!!

  • this seems an experiment. this is not real time.

  • Sweet car =)

  • Notice how it's running over a German car (VW) and a Japanese car (Honda)?

    Who thinks this a coincidence?

  • this seems an experiment. this is not real time.

  • this seems an experiment. this is not real time.

  • this Sherman Tank is a toy for the German World War 2 Tanks

  • @caucau2323

No, this Sherman looks like it is one of the Israeli models upgraded to a French CN-75-50 75mm. Those guns were a modified design of the Panther's own KwK 42 75mm.

  • wheres my car? i just park it here... wtf!! thats my car!!! somebody is gonna pay for this!!

  • in soviet russia car crushes tank

  • @mrcarbine541 lol are you serious :)

  • Yes.....BUT WILL IT STAND UP TO A TIGER!

  • Nice M4A3E8 Shermans guise! :3

  • Only in america.

  • @loolmeanslolxD Nah, they do stuff like this in the U.K. too.

  • This is some hillbilly shit! Let's take the family see tanks crush cars...yeehaaa!

  • @resistenciaa just what the hell isn't cool about tanks crushing cars? To watch a piece of history destroy stuff even now

  • dear santa...

  • looks like a sherman..

  • Now if you would like to argue SEMANTICS, you could refer to the M51 Super Sherman, as that model used the T23 turret for use with the FRENCH 105 mm CN 105 F1.

This model could, if using an M4A3 hull, LOOK like an Easy Eight.

The Israeli military, which built/converted the M50 and M51 Super Shermans, used all sherman hulls that were available (seeing as they were no longer in production).

    This includes, but is not limited to, M4's, M4A1's, M4A2's, M4A3's, M4A4(5)'s.

  • And secondly, What?

1: The '17 Pounder' was designed by Britain in 1941, predicting that their QF-6 would not suffice V german armor.

The M1(A1(C)) was designed by the USA. It is not based on the 17 Pounder, but on the 3" M7, which itself is a modernized 3" Gun M1918 fielded in 1918

It is VASTLY inferior to the 17 Pounder.

2: The first M-50 Super Shermans used the FRENCH 75mm CN 75-50, which was based off the GERMAN 75mm KwK42 L/70, which was used on the Panther Tank.

  • @nohairguysrevenge

    No. Not even.

This is an M50 Super Sherman. Why?

1: It has the M4A4(+) style Glacis, which sported additional armor in front of the crew hatches. This hull was NEVER used by US forces.

2: It has the original M4 turret, which was rarely used with the 76mm due to weight, balance issues, even with a counterweight. This is why almost all 76mm-armed Sherman models used the T23 turret.

3: The gun mantlet is NOTHING like that of a 76mm on either the M4 turret or the T23 turret.

  • its not an m50 this is an M4A3E8 sherman (Easy Eight)

high velocity 76mm gun more advanced version of the M4 Firefly 17 pounder

the M4A3E8 was later dubbed the m50 by other countries who used it but the m50 never served in US colors

great tank but i think the old type turret looked better :P

  • lol yanks got glorious british variant.

  • there should drive german Maus tank or king tiger for this :P

  • if thats what it does when it hits you i would hate to see it shoot

  • Next time, try using a car to crush two tanks.

  • German and Japanese cars i noticed that are being crushed. What was wrong with that VW convertible?

  • i think its the sherman that was up gunned by the british to a 90mm 17 pound gun, wqas basically a sawn of version of the british 17 pounder anti tank gun. used alot towards the end of ww2. 1944-45

  • @dappadan22

you're wrong, it is an 1967 Isreali M50 Super Sherman

  • tigre3 vv sherman

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i got a scrach on my car!!!

  • haha a sherman love those

  • @prozombiehunter but to weak for the German Tiger Tank.=)

  • usa = low iQ

  • @Yamol87 I dont see how this would possibly indicate a low IQ especially for that of such a large and diverse country as the US.

  • Sherman M-50 was never used in WWII

  • @Woodenlegjoe So youve been there?

  • @formatR he mustnt have been there to know that... as far as i know the Sherman M-50 was build AFTER ww2...so it doesnt matter if he were there or not... if it wasnt build at that time itCOULDNT have been there ;)

  • At first sight, I thought that was M10 Tank Destroyer because of the shape of the turret. Glad vafan13 said this is M50 Super Sherman.

  • it's just, soo beautiful :' )

  • what kind of cars were these

  • Sherman's Rock the Casbsh!

  • well they used the M-50 super sherman in WW2 so its sherman tank

  • whata heck is this?? call of duty, online??

  • Is that an M51 Sherman?

  • if you don't like your car call him

  • Even i know its a sherman and i know crap about tanks

  • Someone shoot that sirene!! :-(

  • Shhot 'em with holes and fille 'em with lead!

  • what were the cars that were crushed?

  • dude wheres my car?

  • what kind of car was your car?

  • Israeli Super Sherman

  • Not an M10 !

  • So it's a Sherman then ?

  • no it's a m10 wolverine i think but i'm not sure

  • no, its an m4 sherman, u can tell by its sloped armor

  • Google it.. says it's still a Sherman.. M50/51.. Developement of the HVSS M4 A4 chassis (super sherman)

The one in the vid has a white star on it though !

  • M4 A3 E8, It's a Sherman, but a late model !

  • It's not a wartime American model. It's an M50 or M51 Israeli vehicle.

  • Nope. Late model U.S. Not Israeli.

  • Incorrect. No U.S. model sherman used a turret with a counter balance or mantlet shaped like that.

No American late production tanks had the welded on plates, either. All 76.2-mm armed vehicles had reshaped hulls.

This is clearly an Israeli conversion of a mid-production vehicle equipping it with the HVSS found on a fraction of late model tanks, a modified turret, and a new weapon system.

  • I stand corrected.

  • LOVE the effect of the near-shot of the car at the end; nice touch!

  • they used a lot of those in wwii, they are halftracks

    THANK YOU SHERLOCK HOLMES

  • what kind of cars were they?

  • sweet, Utah! :)

  • .... LOOK HONEY, now it's a convertible!

  • the car was demolihed it is not a covertable look up the definition in a dictionary

  • @pershing22 LOL!

  • my page is done!

  • is that a Sherman firefly?

  • it is a tank

    it is a tank

  • Yep, that is definitely an M-50 "Super Sherman," not a WW2 Sherman

  • Good call; you know your tanks. Wish I had a Super Sherman...

  • @vafan13 isnt it a sherman firefly?

  • @vafan13 I swear it looks more like a Pershing, though I could be wrong.

  • @Aragorn106654 Pershing looks nothing like that xD

  • @Mrfunnydead Fair point; my knowledge of American tanks isnt as great as it once was. Thanks :)

  • @vafan13

    nerd

  • oh and as you know now sherman had now easy 8 suspension so ya

  • Ahhh yes the awesome WWII Sherman TAnk...First time I seen one was at the Spruce Goose dome in OC...I loved it...I got a chance to drive a retired Sherman tank 3 weeks ago... What a RUSH...driving them is pretty cool...well it wasn't cool for the fence that I hit LOL

  • Sherman tanks FTW!

  • Didn't the sherman have a pair of petrol engines?

  • sherman tanks are like the best. lol =D

  • shermans the real american tank!!

  • it sounds like a lawn mower or go-kart :D

  • What the Sherman's 3 rounds to crush a car can do, a Tiger can do it in just 1.

  • Tigers are also heavier, makes a big difference.

  • Yeah, I know. 56 tons of Krupp machinery against

a 34 ton Sherman. I see what you mean. I don't know why idiots left me 2 poor comments, they probably couldn't tell between a Sherman and a Tiger. But you seem to know what you're talking about.

  • WW2 is a pretty intersting war to me.

  • I find it fascinating! Well, the technology actually.

  • thats because if a single tiger breaks down, it takes 2 tigers to pull it into a facotry to be patched up. It take 5 bulldozers to pull one tiger. that how heavy they are. thats why the only made around 2000 of them tigers, and around 500 had the power to sumebrge under 12 feet of water.

  • I know. 56 tons of steel. Its a heavy tank.

  • you know that if you snuck up real close to a tige, and slowly crouch-waled next to it, the crew woudln't notice you at all, because its that big

  • Yeah, I kinda figured that. Do you think Tigers should have been used in urban warfare? Or open Warfare? What do you think?

  • i dont know... i like the t34 better... theres one in the musuem in zhitomere in ukraine, and its loooks sweet

  • Hmmm. I should check that out.

  • @ tyrantg002, you are kidding I think ?????

Dosn't matter what kind of tank, using them in citys is a bad idea

Poor view from inside any tank !

  • Dude! Calm down! I was only asking someone else's opinion. Don't get your nipples in a knot!

  • caterpillar track+rubber wheel

  • awesome!

  • This was as good a Sherman could get... late prod version, 76mm gun, long barrel, Horizintal Volute Spring Suspension... I cannot understand why the US Armed Forces did not pay attention for Christie´s revolutionary suspension, that was used by the Russian tanks even before the war and in the design of teh best WWII tank: the T-34... But I love the M4, anyway... You had to have balls to face a Panther o Tiger in one of this sardine cans...

  • Sherman was good against japanese tanks on the Pcific, but in Europe, Tigers and King Tigers were much tougher. Americans needed to sacriface 3 Shermans to destroy one Tiger. Pershing tank was powerful enough to destroy Tiger, but there was only few of them in Europe in 1945.

  • Sherman cannon is small to againt Japanese small light tanks.

  • when Sherman against tiger, best way for it to destroy tiger is to call P-47 to bomb it. Sherman 76mm cannon can't even penetrate front aromor of tiger at any range

  • front armor****

  • It's that and/or the sherman should find a way around to get behind the tiger's weak point , the butt. lol.

  • That's why they usually sacrificed 2 shermans to get one Tiger. 3 tanks total, two would have to get shot while the third sneeks around and blows the tigers ass out.

  • Oh an HVSS variant, cool!
