one of the best PCgames of all times they said...I belive that. The only thing could ruin the launch and the GOTY award will be a buggy first version and bad optimization like the first one....it sucks!! how with the 1.5 patch the Enhanced edition directors cut of the witcher 1 can go from 140 fps to 22 fps just by walking!!!!

@juanaugustolopez Yeah it was the outdated Bioware Aurora engine they were pushing beyond its limits with the original game...the REDEngine is a project four years in the making they designed to suit their specific needs. If you look at the early builds you can see the beauty of the engine but that it was highly unoptimized (very choppy), but if you look at the latest build previews that multiple sites have been showing the game is running pretty darn smooth and looking better than ever.

@ngough for been the Aurora the witcher 1 looks great!! i just think it was more of the optimized side they fail....5 patches and game doesnt run good on a todays PCgaming....I just hope this doesnt happens on this one so we can have a perfect game in all ways....just 1 more day to find out!! yeah!!!!
