mikecyote@yahoo.com This band is tighter than dicks hat band,,,, as a matter of fact dick is a four letter word but then so is word. Yep they rock.... another 4 letter word. these guys rule... I give up . thanks Dave for having them dance around in my mind every night since.

This comment is my endorsement of the performers mentioned. All Willy Nelson’s unendorsed music is some of the best there is. His movies are the best ever made. It’s hard to say any song is better than every song Willy Nelson ever did but, this song exhibits musical talent refined to its purest state. Even Hank Williams the third will have to practice to top this song.
Yeah these guys for real. Saw at the Country Throwdown in Philly. Lucas is a great blusy type guitar picker. He was playing with his teeth and other crazy shit
Yeah these guys for real. Saw at the Country Throwdown in Philly. Lucas is a great bluey type guitar picker. He was playing with his teeth and other crazy shit
Wow!!!!! Hell Yes These Guys are That Good!!!!! Yes I just saw them Play Live last Week. What Super Nice Guys Too. Your be Hearin' more About Lukas & P.O.T.R. on Down the Road. Da Wave
This really kicked major ass. Had no freakin clue who this cat was. Sat up in the recliner and was like WTF??? Oh hell Yeeeah!! At the end I was seriously wishing for more. Couldn't believe it when he asked who his Dad was. If you dig Dylan or Neil you'll like this. Rocks like hell!!
I just saw him and his band perform as the opening band for Los Lonely Boys this past Saturday night at Stubbs in Austin, Texas. He/They were AWESOME! It was great! He knows how to put on a show!!! There were times that he sounded a lot like his dad.
I was in Vegas hosting a singing TV pilot, and he happened to be singing at the arena that we were filming at the night before. He's so talented, and he was the nicest guy:)
This band is HOT !!!!! firing on all 8 cylinders.....yeah, it's a hemi !!!! Too cool, great song. Best 4 minutes of David's show in quite some time. Heading says Jay Leno show, beg to differ
I saw him in Terre Haute Indiana at the Blues at the Crossroads. Real nice guy! Been watching him get more and more exposure. Yeah, he is going to be big time!!!
Saw him play at Antone's in Austin a few weeks back. He is the real deal. Played with his teeth for like 2 minutes and didn't miss a f'ing note!! Only like 22 yrs old.
Glad I stumbled upon this on late night. This band literally blew me the fuck away! I've never heard of em or anything but goddamn....I knew instantly these guys rocked.
wow, I think they are the best band ive seen on letterman in ages! they had great energy! great song with great lyrics! music was upbeat and far from putting u to sleep! good rock and roll! i was really impressed! cant wait to hear more of their music!
Saw these guys live here in Denton Texas a few months ago. Fucking energetic performance that is non stop! Deff going to see them again when they're back in town.
"It's only been 2 years and she already hates my dog" What a great opening lyric and guitar riff. I was really impressed when I saw these guys on letterman last friday.
i caught this on tv and was blown away, could not stop watchin it,i gotta get the cd,then dave said it was willie nelsons son i stood up and gave an ovation,,,rock on cowboy,
Absolutely awesome.. They played a free open air concert in both San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!! We that went to see them are so grateful for that wonderful gift... Hope they come back Soon!!
I grew up listening to rap, later started to love Southern Rock just as much & became a huge fan of this guys dad, Johnny Cash, Lynark Skynard, etc - hearing them I kind of feel like they revived that genre for me - it was just a badass song - great performance. I really like the album title too.
I saw this band on the Waco, TX city cable channel and had to find out more. I loved everything they played. It was only later I found out that Lukas was Willie's son.
I've remarked about Lucas a couple of months ago! No doubt talent & blues the order of the day! Really good performance on Letterman...gives me hope for our country!!!his other brother & sister are very talented! I know Willie is proud! Happy for the bunch of them & us as listeners!! God Bless Texas!!!
I'm about to buy my first cd of a band that didn't originate in the 70's or 80's - young guys that can play, have great lyrics and raw energy, Glory Alleluja! - the Apocalypse is upon us. LUCAS!!!
The first time I ever saw them play live I INSTANLY loved their music, and have been doing everything I can to help spread the word about them ever since! They're the nicest most talented guys you'll ever want to meet, and they truly love their fans!
They are the deal real!!!! How do i know, I'm from Maui.... i ve been to all of there concert/ show .Lucas, makes it a up close experience always . Don't miss any performance if you can help it .Oh by the way Lucas and Togo you guys look Fab.
Yah, I was so surprised when I saw this. I was watching it and I was saying to myself...wow, someone is finally playing Letterman with some talent. Usually there is no talent these days on the late shows, as with all the music that people are making these days. I found out later it was Willie's son and thought, wow that is awesome. If you listen to his other material online he really sounds like his dad! I loved this performance...and awesome solo! Hope he can bring REAL music back.
When I first saw that and after Lukas finished pickin' the stings with his teeth, it looked to me like he spit out a tooth. It gave me the Willies so bad that I had to watch it a few more times to see what actually happened. GREAT SHOW !
....and the eyeglasses ALMOST made it... FLIIIINGGGGGG...(3:35) LOL... this was exactly how it always is. These guys play and sound like this whether they are on Letterman, Leno or in your hometown bar. They are gritty and they are the REAL DEAL.
WOW That was the bomb right there .Some serious shit.I can hear willie voice a little .The song is Bobby Dylanish , very good foot tapper knee slapping Rocking Roll .
Once in a great while, I see a band like this that gets to me right away. Lukas and his band are the real deal. I love the way he plays his leads on guitar without once looking down at the frets. Very organic. Claptonesque. He has charisma. This dude is cool. Willie should be proud.
The first time I had heard of these guys was when I saw this performance when it aired. I, personally, hate country music, but this is so badass. I love blues rock and I think they fall slightly more into that category than country. No matter how you classify them though, they put out one good sound.
@wafflechip This isn't country music, just because he's from Texas and has a Texas accent. I could put them in the "alternative-roots-rock" category. But, yeah, this is great. He's clearly influenced by Dylan, from his vocals to the way the melody / metre of this song bear a striking resemblance to Bob's "From a Buick Six." There are other clips on YT of them, including them doing a cover of Bob's "Meet Me in the Morning."
I totally came across this quite by accident on TV last night and it absolutely kicked my ass...how impressive was this performance?? I would love to see these guys live if they play like this all the time. Thanks for the upload.
@scheu2112 They are like this live. I saw them at the Blues fest in Terre Haute, IN. It blew my freakin' mind. He is a sweet guy too, I interviewed him for my college newspaper. What a very kind and sweet man. Nice to look at too. ;)

i just saw them last night on letterman and omg this guy is the real deal, man he has soul!!!! playing with his teeth man when was the last time that happen on live tv that was awesome!!!
I saw Lukas at a Willie Nelson concert at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Washington State about four years ago...left me saying "Willie Who?" Let this guy play!!!
Caught you guys on Letterman tonight. You just made me a life-long fan. Way to go guy's. Teriffic energy and good ol' greasy, country-fied hard driving guitar anthem rock. Awesome. I almost fell off the couch.
Damn, this guy is good!! He's the real deal and he'll go as far as he wants, and not because he's Willie Nelson's son, but because he has a gee-tar gift with real soul.
Ive seen them live 6 times now, pretty amazing.

Verse 2: We got married in a hurry, it was such a lovely day,
I said "do you?" she said "I do" and now she's here to stay,
my independence calls me from a payphone far away,
he says "listen man I'm worried, you ain't never been this way", and I get antsy,
real committment seems absurd, see out here in the country 'forever' is a four-letter word.

she's up and down the street like she don't understand the law,
and I'm pining for some time where I ain't looking at her face,

and I get antsy, real committment seems absurd, out here in the country forever is a four-letter word.
