Love Requiem, great movie, beautiful soundtrack.

Star Wars was great before Lucas went back and shall we say, "fiddled" with the original trilogy. That being said I'm happy with Sidious. Would've liked to have seen Maul make it past Episode I though, no point in having such a cool villain if he only gets a few minutes of screen time.

Well, I'm guess you're not a big fan of the Clone Wars series, I'm certainly not since they're pretty well running over the already established storylines, but it does look like they're going to bring Maul back to life again . . .

I'm assuming you haven't been watching the series. At the end of 'Witches of the Mist,' Mother Talzin tells Savage Opress that his brother is still alive and living in exile in the Outter Rim. She sends Savage to Maul to complete his training. If you watch the ending, it actually shows Maul's face in the crystal ball as Savage leaves for his quest.

@electricboa i watch the series all the time. i saw darth maul's face in the crystal ball. when savage opress leaves for his quest, darth maul was living in exile in the outer rim. it was a clone of darth maul. other people say that he was rebuilt. the original body was killed in the phantom menace.

As the story isn't written yet, there is no way to be sure. For one, if the body was destroyed, then there would be no way to clone him, unless Sidious did it. He actually does that later on in the Empire to fight Vader.

Quite simply, the Clone Wars is a complete mess, they either don't know or don't care about basic canon and have no problem directly contradicting other Star Wars material. There's no way they can lower my opinion of the show any lower.

@electricboa After Opress's attempt to kill Tyranus, he headed back to Mother Talzin wounded and exhausted, claiming that Ventress had betrayed him. Needing a new teacher, Mother Talzin claimed that Savage had a surviving brother who was capable of training Savage. Mother Talzin gave Opress an artifact before he left, allowing him to search for his brother, whom Talzin claimed was somewhere in the Outer Rim. He was resurrected after the battle of yavin serving sidious.

@MrSithStalker He was killed then in the New Republic a scientist called Drell Kahmf managed to retrieve and resuscitate Darth Maul's brain from where he was killed. This mad Iridonian scientist believed Maul to be a paragon of the Iridonian people. Stories would later spread of this happening. When Jedi Master Luke Skywalker arrived on Iridonia in an ambassadorial capacity, he was attacked by the Jedi-hating holographic Maul.

@MrSithStalker Not easily fooled by the dark warrior's ghostly appearance, Luke searched for the anomalous presence of Maul through the Force and stumbled upon Kahmf's hideout. Luke declared that "artificially keeping him alive was causing an unnatural disturbance in the Force" and scared Kahmf away before switching off the life-support system sustaining Maul's disembodied brain. Finally, Maul was brought to an end.

All you did was quite other times Maul was used, nothing exists relating to the Maul Savage Opress went after.

The Clone Wars pretty much have no idea what they're doing, so don't expect any kind of coherency there. The best we can hope for it when it's done, people who actually know the EU will try to fix the numerous screw ups, just like with the prequels.
