I honestly didn't like Tekken 1 or 2, just really couldn't enjoy them. never played 3 but my mate raves about it (Tekken nut) and I didn't play 4 either. First Tekken I enjoyed was Tekken Advance on the GBA, I was hooked on it, even master Kings 20+ hit combo.

Then of course 5 (Above) and 6 (Still need to review, lol) I love.

i bought tekken dark resurrection from the play station store for 19.99 but it has no online compatibility whats going on, how did you get yours to be ONLINE??

You answered your own question. You bought Tekken Dark Ressurection. You needed to buy Tekken Dark Ressurection Online.

It's actually called that. There is an upgrade though, but it costs. And it cost me too.

Although 19.99, what currency? Because even for $ that seems really exspensive considering it was £7 I believe for the U.K launch.

Of course the other possibillity is that you bought the right thing but only downloaded half of the game, because it is in 2 parts because of how they released it. So before buying anything, go to my games and double check that you downloaded everything.

Yeah but obviously there's more than just the American store and I try to only spend my $ on the exclusives for ages, because getting $ PSN cards in the U.K is a bit of a bitch.

Tekken 6 if anything, IMO it's a much better game and it's dirt cheap on the PSP if you look in the right shops *COUGHonlineCOUGH* and same goes for Tekken 6 on the PS3, I've seen both games crash down under half there starting price in recent sales.

Yeah I'm in the U.K, but our games are more exspensive than that bud, it's rare any PS3 or 360 game only costs £30 and usually it's £40-£55/$70-$96. And EA are being bastards because they want £70/$122 to be the norm!

Then Activision are bastards because they're trying to charge for online play like in World Of Warcraft. They want to charge £8.99/$15 a month to play Call Of Duty Black Ops. Those greedy fuckers!

I'll just stop buying games if they get there way.

It's a fucking disgrace mate is what it is, and it's not even from cash loss, they're made record funds from the Modern Warfares, they were bragging like mad when it first came out, now they're just being greedy, plain and simple.

And that is a fucking joke! I never knew how much they cost in Aus, I can't bloody believe it either. You guys get shafted worse than us, and it takes the damned piss. For a long time I use to just import everything, but now, you can't. Because exporters got greedy.

I swear down, every day I become more of a P.C gamer and it's because of Valve. Valve truly are the only dev who aren't greedy. Basically they made a P.C shop called Steam. And every year they have like about 4 massive sales.

In July I bought 28 games for £26. Because they just put a "THQ" pack up, and you got things like Dawn Of War, Red Faction, Metro 2033. So not just shit, but new current gen games.

@DEIVION212 hell yeah brother. at least steam is good. one of the many reasons i'm more of a pc gamer than a console gamer. also, i found a copy of tekken dark resurrection at EB games (couldn't find T 6), BUT later on i found a copy of T 6, WTF!!!! at least i only paid $17 bucks instead of $41 (yes i did write $41 and it's pre-owned AND a port of a console game, WHAT THE SHIT!!!!!!!) one more thing, what do you think of Tekken's fighting system. my bro thinks it's SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!

I like it but I really don't think it's the best fighter like a lot of people say, I much prefer D.O.A for realistic fighting and Street Fighter for fighting with powers. I do like Mortal Kombat's engine for powers, but I don't think it compares to SF.

The main reason I don't like Tekken as much as the rest is because of the left fist, right fist thing, it just does my head in at times because it feels more like a boxing game.

@DEIVION212 true, true. i've only just got into fighting games AND my fucking ps3 and ps2 broke, those pieces of shit (i like sony, but every console i buy from them has in some way said "fuck you"). so all i've got now is my psp (even my psp stuffs up on me from time to time and i've only had it for 8 months!) so the only fighting games i've got is soul calibur BD and tekken DR. however my bro hates Tekken cause he thinks it's about learning the longest combo which is just going to be blocked.

Yup, I hate consoles dying too. Had 6 360's bud. I fucking hate them, I really do.

I'm so dissapointed though with Soul Calibur, it's easily the best Calibur game to come out since SCII, but the bastards made it multiplayer only! The gauntlet mode is shocking IMO and I can't beleive they didn't even put an arcade mode in. WTF Namco?!

But SF Alpha III is worth a look for the PSP, IT'S HUGE!

And Blaz Blue is probably my favourite fighter on the PSP, it's so much fun. I'll hopefully be reviewing it soon so keep your eyes open for it :)

any way i'm confused, what's so bad with SC BD not having an arcade mode? isn't that what the trials are for (yes i am a fighting game nub).

Well basically it means that there's fuck all to do. At least if a game has an arcade mode then you can fight that over and over again. Basically arcade modes are where you fight 10 fighters (Commonly) in a row and then a boss and then you get an ending sequence with some story for your fighter.

Well you can get the original on Steam, 'cause it's what I have, I've never even tried the source version. Although I really look forward to Black Mesa.

Parts of 2 I enjoyed more, parts I enjoyed less. I don't think HL2 ends as bad as everyone claims though, I liked it.

@DEIVION212 well the source remake is good because it has way better explosions and water effects (exact same as HL 2), BUT (and i mean a BIG FAT 'BUT') it uses the same detail and textures as HL 1!!!!

and whose been saying the end of HL 2 was bad?! it wasn't as good as HL 1, and to some it was a little repetitive, but hey it was still a great ending.

Normal Dark Resurrection can only go on the PSP.

Dark Resurrection ONLINE however plays on the PS3. So yes, you can play it on PS3.

Killzone 2 with us. Done it 10 times but let us get further when we put it back on, then on final mission, same time and place. Couldn't advance. 1 week later, poof, PS3 dead!
