More than a few seconds? I had too watch these guys play live in 3 or 4 fuckin occasions. Not because I wanted too but they opened for some of my favorite bands. And blasting at 270bpm's (not bmp retard) is not talent. blasting triplets on your right hand while keeping a 4/4 count with your left while doing paradiddles with yout feet is talented. so yes you are mistaking. And in turn makes you the failed musician. So go smoke a dick while listening to elder misathropy you fucking flammer.

Of course I like other bands..Meshuggah are incredible, seen them live a couple of times, and yeah i love the techy death metal stuff like SOP, Necrophagist, Obscura, Origin, The faceless etc. There are different categories for drummers-shannon is one of the fastest out there but couldn't play stuff like Electric Red, but then again Tomas Haake couldn't play Death Mask Divine. I never said he did paradiddles retard. Read what i wrote fuckin faggot. I was saying fast drumming isn't really talent. Anyone with a metronome and a decent practice schedule can do play what shannon plays in like two months tops. And yes i have listened to this band enough to say they suck. And Ive seen and met drummers that would take this guy out. Try looking up Flo Mounier, Peter Wildoer, John Merryman, Tomas Haake and thats just to name a few. Educate yourself before trying to sound smart

Ive been playing since i was six. Entered jazz school when i was 11. and Ive been in 7 bands since i was 14, 4 of which were death metal. Now im a year away from receiving my baccalaureate degree from Berklee College of Music, studying radiology and playing in a Technical brutal death metal band as well as a jazz fusion band.
