It would be great if the glideslope and localizer been simulated at the Ipad, with a VNAV and gps altitude infos. Anybody knows a program that can do that?
Hi my name is John Heimendinger. As Mr Souflava I would know how I must do to put tha approach charts from jeppview into nav pro. I don't want to buy a garmin 695 or moving terrain. You can anwer me on my mail... N2233V@hotmail.fr
Hi. Could you tell me how you made the approach chart geo-referenced? If I import a pdf file to air navigation pro I can see it on the screen but then I can't see where I am.
Most mobile devices are not using the sirf star III gps chipset anymore. THey are using the qualcom chipset. I think you need a sirfstar III for was enabled support
Wow , I'm also a very happy owner of this great ipad . But How did you manage to get jepp ifr app plates on your screen ? did you modify the app yourself or is it an official option ? best regards
@pbrew85 I actually own the Jeppesen FD mobile with europe coverage and Air nav pro as well , but I cannot see how to get the jeppview charts into air nav display !
new version bro

Whose the dump one, the thing is just called VFRpad!!!!

This has been flagged as spam show
Ipad doesn't work as an EFB, it is internet dependent. Plus, it doesn't have GPS. If you want a real EFB checkout VFRpad. digitalflightpad.

Kestrel452: is vfr in the night safe for anny of us? Haha. ;) is it alowed where youre from? :) dooh

I'm getting an iPad for mainly the same purpose. Night flying while VFR just isn't safe for a noob like me without a GPS showing me where I am.
