  • savrsena pesma

  • Poco were great. This is my favorite song. Thanks for posting it.

  • Yeah, saw it on Bones too, its awesome, just finished watchin the episode.

Season 2 Episode 18 The Killer in the Concrete

  • I saw these guys live in Glasgow, Scotland with America, what a great concert!!

  • Poco along with The Flying Burrito Brothers started it all.....

  • reading the comments you young guys make about my favourite band really makes my day. Checkout Poco's wealth of music over the years (Crazy Eyes or Inamorita are good starting points).

  • What a beautiful song. Makes me wish I were back in time.

  • If you want to here the best audio reproduction here, click the High Quality (with the cowboy on the cover). I'm actually sorry that this fine song should be related to a schlock show like Bones.

  • bones :)

  • I too heard this on Bones. I don't know how I missed this group back in their day but really enjoy them. I enjoy all music!!!!!

  • bones rocks and this song too

  • BONES!

  • I love this song, I sing it to my fiance everynight before we go to sleep.

  • I could never figure out why the Eagles made it & Poco didn't? I thought they were a perfect band. Great singing, playing, song writing & harmonies. I'm so glad I saw them about 8 times back in the days!

  • me too barryman...I think it's cause ppl kept leaving POCO...Messina, Furay, Timmy....but they were great back in the day...

  • @originalbarryman I think it came down to the whims of David Geffen, honestly. He probably thought that the Eagles (and their peripheral associates Jackson Browne and J. D. Souther) were cuter and enjoyed ogling them more.

  • i love poco bones well thats just another show

  • Comment removed

  • you're angry because a good show promoted their song? if you think that's justified then you have issues.

  • The sounds kindda bad but the song rocks!! =)

  • yay bones

  • amazing! Have loved this song ever since it was featured on Bones, great music, great lyrics ;D!

  • Poco rules, Eagles drool! Timmy should have stayed with this group! They were just getting better, as the Eagles started putting out poppy crap like "Fartache Tonight!" Long live Poco!!!

  • Excellent comment man!!

  • Thanks, Bro! We obviously have similar tastes in music!

  • You're right POCO with the rest of the band without Ritchie,Jim and Randy anyway they were tryin' really good.now thanks a lot for this Jewell, but i can't believe that i can't find better copy of this one in the whole net!

  • What's with the picture?

  • Always loved Timothy's singing. He's my favorite Eagle too. Unfortunately, I missed out on hearing his Poco stuff in the past. His solo music is great also.

  • i heard it on bones too :D

  • Help put Poco in the R&R Hall of Fame by going to petitiononline-dot-com. They deserve it!

  • Actually the sound is pretty bad. They are playing and singing very well (I love this song) but the audio and picture quality of this video are pretty awful.

  • wish i had a turn table, i would like to spin this album, but i may have worn it out when i did.

  • Bad video but good sound. How many bands these days could sound as good as them ,Live? Not many.

  • i heard it on Bones :) i liked this

  • My girlfriend and I are going down some rough roads right now and she just set this song to her myspace profile... I think I should try to hang on to her!

  • Love this song to bad the video is so poor. If you're a real Timothy B. Schmit fan there is a really nice video of him singing made about 4 years later. Check out EAGLES - I Can't Tell You Why(1979) by gianco64rita. One of the sweetest faces and voice out there!

  • obviously this fella up here keeps picturing brokeback mountain everytime he hears this..thats why he calls it gay

think its all in your own head genius

  • These guys were incredible. Are they in the R&R Hall of fame? They should be!

    The Eagles owe them.

  • Does a good copy of this video exist ...anywhere?

~ What a treasure if indeed it did ~

    God I LOVE this song.

  • ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT, THIS IS THE MUSIC OF MY YOUTH, TRYING TO SOBER UP FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE, AND MY BEST FRIEND PLAYING THIS SONG, ON HIS STEREO, AND MY HEAD RINGING WITH TIMOTHYs VOICE, WHERE THE HELL ARE THE TYLENOLS?!

  • i miss that kind of music

it's not the same anymore, simple, deep, 'pure' you know ?

  • i agree. completely.

  • me too. i heard it on bones and i stayed like this o.O

  • I love Poco! They are amazing!

  • Thanks,alcoholic anthem!

  • Correction to earlier post. the DVD was recorded at the Belcourt Theater in Nashville in 2004 but I think was released in 2005. Does anyone know if George has come back and been able to play drums and sing again?

  • According to their website George is playing again however he does not have full use of his affected arm. I happened to be at that show in Springfield Mass. It was quite an upsetting moment for all the Poco fans in attendance, not to mention certainly the band!

  • I have most of the Poco albums from the early days and several from late 70s and early 80s. Phenomenal band in various stages. I saw them twice in the early 70s an saw the Eagles in1972 or 73. Both great bands but I give the edge to Poco. Better harmonies and instrumentation, especially with Rusty Young. I've got a CD of their performance in 2005 in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium and they sounded great still! Rusty Young's singing has taken over for the loss of Tim B. Schmidt.

  • no doubt mmannaxx...they opened with this when I saw them in a little theater in Wilkes-Barre PA..needless to say "blown away"...they went into "Rocky Mtn Breakdown" after this....jesus...their vocals were incredible...who knew at the time that Rusty could sing too?

  • I agree they should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It should be based on the groups contribution to the World of Music not on commercial success! Commercial success doesn't always mean good music as we all know. Poco was the bedrock the Heart and Soul of Country Rock and it should be acknowledged and celebrated. Maybe all the musicians that benefited from their efforts should support Poco's induction into the Hall. I think a massive petition drive should be started and an E-mail barrage.

  • I'm there...

  • poco <3

  • bones 2*18 <3 !!!!! Elle est magnifique..

  • Exactly the reason I began to Like Poco. Excellent song.

  • george grantham you stooge god you guys try to sound so rock intellectual and you don't know shit from shinola

  • What are you referring to? Use punctuation and you might be intelligible.

It's interesting that the sum of the parts isn't greater than the parts. Each and every member of POCO past n present is incredibly talented with most of them disgustingly underrated. Solo they are fantastic, together superb! The dolts at the R&R Hall Fame won't induct them. They weren't commercially successful enough. But to us die had Poconuts, they left a legacy (pun intended) of excellent music, and classy musicians.

  • and for anyone out there...apparantly Grant Granthem isn't doing to well (drummer...and only person alive who could sing higher than Timmy)....just google him if you want to donate...

  • they opened with this when I saw them in '74...my future wife was in the audience and we would meet 5 years later...heh...kharma...opening for POCO was Peter Frampton...before he came ALIVE...I was there for Frampton 'cause I was a big Humble Pie fan...years later when I married that beautiful girl that was at the same concert that night this became our song...funny how things work out?

  • Great song! Poco was never the same when Tim left...

  • this is the best song ever!!

  • Tim did far a lot music and everything when he was a Poco member.,sure he made less money then that now joining The Eagles but....

  • Love this song!

  • Oh man, I have been a Poco Fan before anyone Knew Poco. They were great!!

  • Love this song in Bones

  • You are exactly right. My error. Cotton has been with them a bit longer than I originally thought.

  • Timmy Schmit is one of the most prolific musicians alive, his body of work is incredible.

  • Timothy B. Schimt remains one of the best bass-playing singers that have ever been. However, let's not forget that Paul Cotton was a righteous replacement for Richie Furay and personally, I thought to be a better songwriter and singer. The two, Schmit and Cotton made the band. This harmonious melody is spell-binding. A+

  • Actually, Paul Cotton replaced Jim Messina.

Watching the 1972 Just For Me and You video, you will see Paul, Tim and Richie, who is the leading vocal, are in the front line.

  • Tim Schmit did a lot of very good music with Poco and it's a shame this great band was always behind steps of The Eagles whose Tim would join them few years later of this song clip from the 1975 album Head Over Heels.

  • Love this song!

  • I love Timothy B. Schmit

  • Ahhhh! That harmony!

  • This is now my favorite song!!!!!! I love it soo much!!!

  • ther is an other video on YouTube wich shows the part of bones where this song is played. I realy like this song and bones too.

  • this song was class on bones

  • yeah i think that, too.

  • Poco was a great band. I'm happy to have held onto this album. I didn't know very much about Poco before Tim Schmit came along, but he certainly didn't hurt them by his appearance, afterward going to the Eagles, coincidentally replacing the same bassist he replaced in Poco, Randy Meisner.

  • haha yes I just saw this watching my Bones DVD, I loved that, it's good

  • amazing song

  • Bonessss!!!! the song!!!

    god..its just perfect!

  • Wow!!!! Does it get any better than this??? Great ! Love it... Do not know who or what "bones" is but thanks for whoever is responsible for keeping this alive!! Playing it over and over and over!

  • it doesn't denny...I got to see them do this...with the same background...thing that blew me away was how Grant Grantham could sing higher than Timmy?...I mean...that's almost impossible?

  • Poco opened with this when I saw them..blew me away..they were on tour with Frampton before he went ballistic...my future wife who I hadn't met yet was at the same concert...she always liked when I played Poco on guitar..:-)

  • aww, cute (:

  • still play it to this day...on the occassional times I play out...just me and the acoustic...in rememberence of my beautiful wife..

  • I don't watch Bones, but I've loved this song longer than the shows has been on the air. Good stuff.

  • i love this song!!! I love Bones!!!

  • great song but bad picture

  • Tim sill looks as young as ever and thanks for resurfacing that crush. Named my sheltie after Poco way back when. Thanks for the memories.

  • Yeah had this vinyl album I bought in the 70s but its too expensive to maintain the player. On my recent trip to Oregon i bought a Cd version at the Shacks.

  • fuck bones, this song was good before that show was even a glimmer. and yeah, head over heels is a GREAT album. and that's coming from a seventeen year old, yeah?

  • hi I don't think you're being polite..no one in here said that the song was bad or good after or before bones but the truth is that bones did show to ppl of all different ages this wonderful song!! and i don't think u should said that about the series..Yes I admit it: i'm a Bones series fan and thank god that show exists!! not just because of the show itself but if it wasn't that episode I would never found this song!! 5*****

  • oooh k i don't know anything about that show i was just saying that this song did not originate on bones.

  • yeah i think that everyone knew that this song didn't originate on bones i mean..if everyone do their research they'll see lool and ok i didn't understand in your comment the meaning that you refered right now but that's fine more you help me..if you don't know nothing about the show..don't judge =)

  • Thanks. I'd been looking for this 'hen' video for ages! Great song, the album "Head Over Heels" is a gem.

  • This song was on Poco's Head Over Heels album from around 1975. I still have the vinyl from college.

Great album from start to finish. The harmonies give me chills. Check out the whole album if you can find it.

  • Heh, Bones connects us all together :). This is a great song
