You are incorrect Zeus. a) If the player was down, the ref would blow the whistle, not throw a flag. b) The flags were against Stanford, because their band was on the field during play. c) You mean to say the third player who has the ball...who may or may not have been down, but no one will ever know...and it's the most amazing, sensational, traumatic...heartrending finish to a college football game ever.

Awesome finish, the Bears player who made the first lateral was already down-by-contact though, that's why the flags; the last TD shouldn't have counted cos' the ball should have been called dead. But still a great finish regardless
