It's totally true that women (and many men, by the way) do burn themselves out by not taking care of themselves and not asking clearly for what they need.

I don't know if it's biological, but it's environmental, men take to get what they want, women give and receive what they want. However, some smart men did successfully learn from women, that's why a lot of success coaches actually promote people to give, to do charitable to improve their business or career.
Search for "get your husband to do what you want". Then "2 and 3 mark gungor" and finally "his stoopid ideas" (I know it is misspelled but that's how you'll find it). This last one is less comedy You might also want to check out "men's brain women's brain".
