This is one of the best Skate 2 solos out there. I had to come in and say how awesome it is. I don't care if it's "not realistic enough," I think it looks awesome no matter what, and the filming style gives it such an epic feel.

haha, hey guys. it's nice to hear the wild rumours spreading about my methods, but i've already explained it to a bunch of people below. i am a TV director but my setup is hardly high tech :)

I have a DVD recorder which has HDMI out (so i hook it up to the TV). Unfortunately I cannot run HDMI in so I have to run the RCA lead out of my xbox to the scart input on the recorder. On a full size TV I promise you this would look pretty shocking :)

Hey man. Yeah you're absolutely correct, I used a DVD recorder to take the images from my tv and then ripped them with handbrake/visual hub and edited in Final Cut Pro.

hey man. i never used skate.reel to cut my stuff so i can only offer a stab in the dark. i don't even know what format you are dealing with, but i'll look into it when i have a moment. with regards to editing, i use Final Cut Pro (I am on Mac), but I hear great things about Sony Vegas for PC, and Adobe Premiere is what I learned on years ago ;)

it has to be 16:9 and have to be sizes 720x405 and up all will put ur video in widescreen

widescreen is 16:9 aspect ratio and 4:3 is not widescreen and will have the black bars and u need to have the right video size like i said 720x405 will make it fit the whole screen anything below that will make it 4:3 even know u had it 16:9 before u upload it but youtube will mess it up
