Dil: Thank you for admitting that you were wrong, in that, I have not lied. Where Obama is concerned, it's not that I don't like him, I don't know him. If anything, I am scared of him and the lack of experience that he brings to the table. Before Bush was elected, people from Texas were screaming that he was a bad choice, but weren't listened too. We have had the old run our country and we need to think of supporting a new generation of leaders why not start with someone who represents a new path- the road not taken by Bush. You should be able to judge Why is it that old people (old in thinking) are always talking the experience card? Here is an issue that was completely with Obamas power: Obama stated to The Dailey Herald 3 years ago that: Obama and Blagojevich stood united in that they would not allow NICOR gas to raise their rates. However, when "push came to shove" neither did what they said they would and Nicor's rates went up almost 30%. If Obama never planned on making a stand or if he were unable to make a stand, he never should have promised that he would.

Dil: I do not hold Obama SOLELY responsible for the problems in Illinois, I am simply pointing out that he has not done his part in resolving issues in Illinois. Obama talks about changing odds for urban America, but he has not done anything for Chicago's inner city schools. If he is going to make a change, he could have done so already and started with the state that elected him. If he is unable to be effective in Illinois, what why should anyone think we will be effective for the US?

What have I done for Illinois? I am a member of the Knights of Columbus charity org. and have implemented various functions as well as partaken in several others. I also write to congress as well as the governor's office. I also vote, coincidentally, I voted for Obama twice, However, I am unhappy with his performance.

Ok, lets talk about the environment then. Earlier this year Obama and McCain proposed a bill that would reduce greenhouse gasses by ONLY 2% every year for the next 10 years. Now in my opinion, 2% is such a small amount that it is "next to nothing". If Obama is interested in addressing the severe environmental issues that we face, why is his position so negligible? Actions speak louder than words.

I am only holding Obama accountable for issues that are within his control. I live in Illinois, I voted for Obama, and I feel that I have every right to ask him to take responsibility for the state that he was elected to represent. Both Obama and Blagojevich (governor-Illinois) could have blocked NICOR gas from raising their rates as well as the electric company, but they didn't. I don't have a problem with him writing a book, just advertising it on my dime!

Obama, while you have been Illinois senator the cost of gas (4-homes) has gone up almost 30%, electric bills have gone up almost 30%, phone bills have gone up almost 30%. While you were supposed to be at work- working for us, you were on Oprah promoting your book. In Illinois, cars older than 95 are no longer required to test emissions, Chicago schools are in severely poor condition, and the list goes on. If you can't handle the job of senator, why should anyone vote for you?
