I have heard of the Can Ams. The house they bowl in when it is in the US is Bangor-Brewer Lanes in Bangor, ME. You should call them and they can give you information for entering. It is a teams tournament, so you would need your own team, or try to get on an already established one.
can you teach me how to deliver the ball so smoothly to the lane. I'm losing pins on my average and i'm trying to fix my approach. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm from the Salem MA area. Thanks man and congrats on a great string
With me, its all about the rotation i put on it when it comes out of my hand. I try to put a small backspin on the ball, allowing it to come out of my hand off my index and middle finger. It goes against most of what you should do as far as rolling it off the top of all fingers. But it allows me to throw it smoothly and with more flat revolutions as opposed to bouncing and having the ball to something i dont want it to do.
Its where some extra speed comes in. Getting the pins to move just a bit more than they normally would. Sometimes you get the carry. And the only thing to do after you get a good break on teh first one is to throw another one...:)
