hello everyone. i wanted to invite all of you to ((((prymeocarinas.webs.com))))  it is a website created for people who love ocarinas. its somewhere to make friends, discuss oc topics. upload videos or pictures of your playing, collections, tabs etc. its not the greatest thing anyone has ever seen but its a start and we are trying to grow so everyone is invited to sign up and start posting! we hope to see you there. especially you diva!

What kind of ocarina do you have in the first song?

I might be getting one and I'd like to know what your personal favorite is as well as which one is easiest, in your opinion, to play.

Hello! I'd like to inform you, that no matter what ocarina you pick, it won't be easy to play at the start. But try searching for ocarinas, in which you use about the same amount of breath in every note. Also keep in mind, that you should maybe first go with a less expensive one, which therefore sounds not as good. But if you get into the hobby more, then feel free to buy a good one, which costs 150-500 dollars. Happy hunting! :)

Thank you very much! I do practice a lot, but the ocarina is also much easier to play than many other instruments, and since it is so easy to carry around, I have many opportunities to practice. : )

I wish these ocarinas were in my collection - don't they look cool!! It's just a picture I found on the internet, but it reminds me of a job I had several years ago selling ocarinas at a Renaissance Fair - good times!

No - STL has the sheet music for their CD "She Moved Through the Fair", and it comes with a play-along CD with the accompaniment. Besides ocarinas, STL also sells really awesome learning resources. I'm currently using their book "The Art of Ocarina" to learn to read sheet music for ocarina (something I've wanted to do for years.)

Very well done. It looks like I need to figure out the video editing and get a decent microphone. That's a pretty professional looking mic you've got there. I've been having huge technical problems with microphones not being able to handle the higher range of my ocarina.

I wouldn't even know where to start with overdubbing.
