  • Wow, I could never make my Deluxe 85 sound that good

  • Found someone selling one for $50, it just needs a new input jack and some wiring

  • hahahhaa, why one of your tags is "egocentric"?

  • OMG!!!! O_O We have almost the same Guitar!

Do you have the Gold Special limited?

  • Im soooo glad i dont live next door to ya...lol Pove! (UK)

  • Can you believe it? I'm buying this baby of the same color today :)

    Awesome solo.

  • I bet you won't be disappointed. I love mine, and the color is even better in person. Thanks for the compliment :)

  • Well,now I'm a happy cherry "Special 3" owner.

The way I see and feel it-they took LP,eliminated all its drawbacks and added this cool NSX.If it wasn't for hum and the Parkers around,I'd name it the wisest choice for the slowhand likes of me :) NOW we rock!

  • Yes We Do! It's nice to own a Nighthawk!

  • beutiful guitar, i dont know y they dont make em..

i found a black 3-pickup one on craigslist adn now its my primary axe.

    insane-osity, keep it up.

  • They're great underated guitars. They never should have stopped making them. How's the single coil sound on yours?

  • I have the same amp and a les paul, my amp does not sound like that with out effects pedals!

  • Really? I have the Gain at 8, Boost-8, Limiter-2, treble-10, Mid-4, Bass-10, Reverb off (I usually have it on, but the concrete floor was echoing nicely).

Nighthawks are considerably "Hotter" than Les Pauls, the only real similarity is the single cut-away. The Hawk has a hotter bridge pickup, a longer scale length, and smaller chambers in the body.

  • I'm sorry, I relpied to you with the username I use for Politics. I should pay more attention. That FirstMeasure Reply is from Topnoteboy.

  • were u using the amp distortion channel or a pedal?

  • I'm plugged dirrectly into the amp. That's just the amp's distortion channel. Those Red Knob Fenders have very aggressive gain.

  • very cool guitar and awesome jam too:) 5 stars *****Jane

  • Thanks, Jane. I'll be doing something a little more musical pretty soon.-Shon

  • how much is your nighthawk worth?

  • I'm not sure, but I think around $700-$800 US. It's the Nighthawk Special, which means it has the Dot inlays instead of Parallelagrams, and no crown in the headstock. It's the no-frills model, but I like how it screams.
