Really? I have the Gain at 8, Boost-8, Limiter-2, treble-10, Mid-4, Bass-10, Reverb off (I usually have it on, but the concrete floor was echoing nicely).
Nighthawks are considerably "Hotter" than Les Pauls, the only real similarity is the single cut-away. The Hawk has a hotter bridge pickup, a longer scale length, and smaller chambers in the body.
I'm not sure, but I think around $700-$800 US. It's the Nighthawk Special, which means it has the Dot inlays instead of Parallelagrams, and no crown in the headstock. It's the no-frills model, but I like how it screams.

I'm plugged dirrectly into the amp. That's just the amp's distortion channel. Those Red Knob Fenders have very aggressive gain.
